The Bolsheviks were not a 'changing social dynamic'. That's an incredibly dishonest and deceptive reading of history (and even a casual glance at your account shows that's not an accident). They were bloody terrorists that murdered political rivals, committed genocide and created a complicated labyrinth of mental and physical torture camps that some people become stuck in their entire lives. Tens of millions of people died.

If you read the widely historically accepted accounts of some of the shit that went on during the red terror, it's pretty mind boggling. The level of cruelty and psychopathy easily surpasses most of what the Nazis were accused of. The widespread accounts of torture and mass murder include some of the worst examples I've ever heard of. That he would casually use them as an example of what he wants for the west shows this guy's continuous passive aggressiveness conceals a deeper sociopathy.
