When We Met Other Human Species

Video on Neanderthals and Denisovians, it's 13 minutes long but I'm curious what you guys think about us mixing with these other species, and essentially becoming better off as a result which the video will go more on.

Very little archaic human DNA is preserved in modern humans. You keep pushing this BS about race mixing being somehow beneficial - it's not selling to anyone. And there is virtually no data that suggests it's a good idea

And, FWIW - these archaic humans are not really "other species" in the traditional sense, if modern humans can breed with them. Really makes you think

You should of watched the video first. We still carry a beneficial immune system gene from them for one among others.

Irrelevant. The useful genes from these archaic populations were kept, all others were discarded by evolution after thousands of years of natural selection. That's why they only make up anywhere from 0-5% of modern human genomes. This has no implication for modern day "race mixing"

It does mean genetic diversity now could lead to a superior human in the future.

This statement is at best meaningless. How is "superior" defined? Smarter? More muscled? Physically larger? If you want to create the "superior human", however defined, then hypothetically we would just select the specific genes we want from any population to create this being using genetic engineering. If we wanted to create a "master race" of these beings, then we probably want some genetic diversity, but not a lot - because we already figured out the best genes to give them.

"Genetic diversity" on its own is not valuable. The reason you need genetic diversity in normal populations is to prevent the expression of defective recessive alleles that are detrimental to fitness. If you had created an artificial master race with perfect genetic information, then you probably wouldn't have much genetic diversity in that population at all. Since you can't create a master race yet, and your only other option is typical procreation, all of the desired genes you hope to get from other races will come with undesired ones

And "in the future" - what does the future look like? Should we race-mix with asians to boost our IQ as humanity slowly transitions to big-brained, physically weak alien-like creatures - or should we mix with blacks and get lower IQ but more testosterone/muscle mass to survive the mad max apocalypse?

There's nothing Europeans need that we don't already have. Changing 1-5% of our DNA to be some kind of "superior human" is not a practical goal that can be achieved from race-mixing

You said it yourself natural selection helped us keep the superior genes (more useful for our environment) we have today from Neanderthal contributions EPAS1, HYAL2, and STAT2 while getting rid of the ones that weren't as useful. In this scenario, if individuals had contributions from all 3 of those races mentioned then natural selection as was demonstrated already will mean we keep the best going forward. It isn't mutually exclusive between hapa or mulatto. From a moral standpoint, people should have the freedom to procreate with who they choose but the narrative that this will certainly result in a degenerate future people is a lie.

The obvious is Europeans could also be the top sprinters, improved immune systems, with higher IQ's and going forward with the best traits: just as the human race already has and will do. This shouldn't be forced though, obviously, there should still be other variants such as how Neanderthals shouldn't have gone extinct and could co-exist with modern humans.
