Unlike Reddit, we're not quarantined on Ruqqus and so any time we post anything, it'll have viewers coming from their equivalent of /r/all/new. Yesterday, my post got 40 net upvotes and 67 comments, which is already comparable to posts we got on reddit. I had severely underestimated the efficacy of quarantines on reddit.

Ruqqus's average user is a centrist who leans libertarian. That means that people who come over are typically interested in debating the dissident right. It is not the echo chamber that the quarantine forced us to be on reddit. People were generally engaging and respectful too, so I do believe this has the potential to be a more viable home than reddit was.

We got 40 subscribers yesterday. If we post a lot of content, we should be able to get even more subscribers today. The cap for new subs is pretty high because Ruqqus is backed by very popular subreddits that are (a) not banned and (b) have well over 100,000 people. These users are anti-censorship and more open minded than redditors are.

Even if the platform is overall much smaller than reddit, (a) it's growing fast, (b) we have access to more of the userbase, and (c) the userbase is more open to becoming redpilled than Reddit's userbase ever was. Moving to Ruqqus also reunites us with old friends such as /r/smuggies, /r/milliondollarextreme, and /r/clownworld.

    I said a couple of weeks ago that saidit day's were numbered. This just makes me think I was absolutely correct in thinking this. What sub and what was the complaint out of interest if you are aware?

      Can we not have a middle ground between the horrific censorship of reddit and the absolute racist and homophobic shitshows that places like VOAT and seemingly Ruuqus are?

      I mean surely a middle ground can be had where actual discussion of difficult ideas can be had without it instantly dissolving into 'fuck of nigger shill'.
