Unpopular opinion: When leftists complain about colonialism, they have a genuine point when it comes to France. France to this day demands tribute from its former colonies and its cultural stranglehold of countries like Cameroon have caused artificial tension all in the name of more shekels for Paris.

French joggers are the result of destabilized African nations that France turned into war-torn shitholes (most of the refugees speak French...). GB created Nigeria which is doing just fine compared to it's past (all British colonies are better than how they started) and Germany's Namibia is perfectly viable colonialism ("muh genocide" stfu). Before someone mentions Belgium and the Congo, that "country" is completely irreparable and was always the deepest darkest part of Africa that was a genocidal nightmare.

So yeah, France is reaping what it sowed. The idea of colonialism was to colonize, not to bleed them out.

Agreed, breaking France's sphere of influence should be a core part of our ideology. Why mock the genocide Germany committed against Namibia though? The Congo was horrific and to be fair the artificial way the country was built is the reason for the tension. Leopold was a monster and a sickening excuse for a human.

Salvini have criticized France for its Africa policy during the yellow vests uprising.
