They also apparently banned Keith Woods, and who knows who else. Google had already largely disappeared him from searches. Another one of their technical glitches I guess.

That's possible. Woods does tend to get rattled by the kosher mafia on twitter if some of them start mentioning him in their kvetching and responding en masse to his tweets, and has taken a break from twitter before to let things die down and avoid them putting a contract on him that deplatforms him entirely.
