Eastern Europe (including the Muslim parts like Bosnia or Albania) is still in its own 80s/90s phase where the population is becoming pretty socially liberal but still has some vestiges of ethnic tribalism and mild conservative ethics in-built.

Totally this. Quasi conservatives have ZERO ability to communicate their message. Young people are frankly a bit dumb from injesting propaganda 24/7. While conservative minds are literally (studies, stats and empirical data) smarter, they don't get what is happening in the world. And they don't even know what they want to conserve or why muh church is not enough by far!

Conservatives in the west are simply worse liberals. The PiS (it's actually not pronounced "piss") president has won by a nosehair and they are objectively doing an ok job. In other words, he should have won easily! Just like with Trump they are nearly useless in cementing power. That's why they shall lose in the next decade bigly . Hopefully something better comes along soon.

The Eastern European conservative leaders are at least mildly better than the most right-wing mainstream political figures in Western nations, although they are very far from perfect (a lot of them just implement bare minimum social conservatism but there are still issues with degeneracy) and these nations face many of their own issues. Also, Eastern Europe is generally more right-leaning despite some social issues so parties there have inherent advantage unlike in Western Europe and North America.

Ideally, what Americans at least should learn from European "national conservatives" is to stop caring about the false god known as "DUH FRAY MAHKAT" and GDP so much and actually implement socially conservative policies (like actually ban abortion, overturn Roe v Wade or repeal the gay marriage laws rather than tip-toeing around the issues) or also actually take a strong stance on immigration for once. GOP are called things like the "American Taliban" or "Christian fundamentalists" but when it comes down to it they are just libertarian pansies who let their countries become godless hells.

For me I am grateful to see them encourage family formation although I would ultimately like to see a country adopt a eugenic bias — such as Singapore does.

I am also an immigration restrictionist and their refusal to let there country become swamped by sometimes hostile migrants is a huge feather in their cap.

In a different article I read there is some business corruption. Something I feel is important to strongly discourage.

Anyway. I wish Poland the best.

Not much at the moment but LKY went down a eugenist path in the 1980s and gave out financial incentives for intelligent women to have more babies. his views were ridiculed in the Western media but some Singaporeans at least thought they were a good idea.

This article gives you an idea of his thinking on the subject (and the reaction it provoked)

    Sage Pub:

In his National Day speech that year [1983], Premier Lee returned to a favorite theme, i.e., the importance of the quality of human material that has sustained Singapore’s impressive economic growth.’ Coupled with his firm belief in the innate (indeed, hereditary) character of those qualities making for this success, eugenic considera- tions had been for quite a while an important factor in major areas of social policy in Singapore. In previous statements, public as well as private, Lee had been utterly explicit about his uncompromising elitism and his conviction that the fate of Singapore rested with an elite group of “no more than 5 per cent” who were “more than ordinarily endowed physically and mentally." This was not merely ideological cant, but was consistently carried over into social policy and most vividly typified by an elaborate tracking (streaming) system in the republic’s educational set-up.

To underline the government’s seriousness in this matter, Dr. Coh Keng Swee (Deputy Prime Minister at the time) unveiled to the Singapore public a package of countermeasures to reverse these trends. These included: a computer dating service; fiscal and other incentives for graduate women to bear more children; love-boat cruises (all expenses paid) for eligible graduate singles in the civil service; special admissions criteria to the National University of Singapore (NUS) to even out the male-female student ratio; calls to NUS academicians to investigate the single graduate problem, and also the introduction of courtship classes in the undergraduate curriculum to hone the would-be suitor’s skills, etc. [Cont...]

The whole thing is worth reading.

Here is a Reddit thread where (presumably) Singaporeans discuss the subject.

Not a representative sample, but mostly they think it's a good thing.
