You are right. Most people view hypocrisy (by this I mean acting one way but criticising others doing same action) as morally wrong at the personal level but the truth is that in politics and statecraft, hypocrisy is normality. Everyone who succeeds in pursuing their self-interests acts hypocritically, leftists, Zionists and other groups realise this. Sure, it is indeed hypocritical that Seattle's Lenin statue isn't tore down while Teddy Roosevelt over minor controversy or that Jews want diversity abroad while having their own authoritarian ethno-state committing ethnic cleansing, but so what? What are the conservatives going to about it? What is the alt-right going to do about it? Hypocrisy in politics is acting in self-interest, and all that really matters is the might to back your self-interest up. The current "ethical" guidelines of society anyway have been built by these groups, they set it so they are allowed to break them and you are not.

You're forgetting that power is only held at the behest of other people. If you admit that your goal is to take for yourself at the expense of others, why would other people support you? Even if you tell them they're a part of your in group, the logical next step toward your goal is to define a new, even more exclusive in-group in order to further consolidate power.

You are taking power at the expense of your enemy. Admitting your against your enemy does not alienate the demographic that is looking for a group to oppose their enemy. Morality is not thrown out the window when dealing with people within your group or rivals, it is thrown out against a enemy that is unscrupulous. You don't benefit by holding onto principles against an enemy that has no principles and just wants you dead.

Right now you say nonwhite people and jews are your enemy. When they aren't around, you say liberals and women are your enemy. When they aren't around, you say gays and civ nats are your enemy. Only a fool thinks they'd never turn on him.
