So get out there and picket it. Get the local news involved, raise awareness and

oh wait the last step is too hard

run for school board on a stated agenda and reform your schools

You didn't notice I posted this under censorship? It would seem to me that a Satan club has just as much as a right to exist under the 1st amendment as a Christian club does.

Although I would be in favor of keeping all religion out of school, I expect consistent application of the rules

The problem is most schools wouldn't allow Christianity because it's "bigoted".

[–]ActuallyNot 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

WTF?

The after school Satan club only meets at select public schools where Good News Clubs and other religious clubs meet.

If you'd had bothered to read the article, you'd have noticed that the bigoted Christians already had an after school club:

"I understand the school has to allow them because they allow other after school programs such as the good news, which is a Christian based after school program, that one I'm okay with." - TFA

Honestly I object to the state indoctrinating children with not just religion, but any ideology, be it christianity, wokism, satanism or anything else. The job of the state is to teach facts, not tell you how you have to interpret them.

My main point here was the hypocrisy of many evangelicals that do want religion in schools, and cite their first amendment rights, but do not apply these principles consistently when they dislike the ideology in question

The lack of religion is Humanism, and it's a religion. This is not an open question. The question is, what flavor will you tolerate.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The lack of religion is Humanism

No, thats atheism, which is not the same as humanism, nor is every atheist a humanist. Nietzsche would be an obvious example of an atheist who is no humanist.

"Nietzsche, while departing from a humanistic, pro-Enlightenment viewpoint, criticized humanism for illusions on a number of topics, especially the nature of truth"

There is even christian humanism

"Christian humanism": a historical current in the late Middle Ages, where Christian scholars combined Christian faith with interest in classical antiquity and a focus on human well-being.[56]

Anti-humanists can be atheists as well

According to Karl Marx, humanism is a bourgeois project that attempts to present itself as radical but is not

Which of those meanings do you think is synonymous with "the lack of religion"?

[–]iamonlyoneman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I'd try to explain it but it'd be a waste of effort. Maybe think on it some more.

Christians need to learn to organize outside of church because the church has been corrupted. Once they learn to leverage thier common cultural foundation to organize while fending off (((opposition))) they will be a force to be reconed with again.

[–]Vulptex 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

Uhh...do you realize Christianity is a gigantic branch of Judaism?

[–]Canbot 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (12 children)

It's not. And jews absolutely hate christians. Look up the origin of the word kike.

[–]Vulptex 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Then why does everyone in the New Testament call themselves Jews?

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Islam, Christianity and Judaism are basically the same thing, all worshipping the same dude and are all basically evil. Yes they all hate eachother, but what other use is religion if not for hate?

That's just like saying "all religions are the same thing". It's simply wrong. That you can't understand the differences does not mean there are none.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I mean, all flavours of ice-cream are still ice-cream. Christianity stemmed from Judaism, Jebus was a Jew. Islam stemmed from the two because the Arabs were pissed they had no prophet so they got themselves a Mohammad. Just because they differ in politics and disagree on aspects, doesn't mean they are different. They are all the same poisonous crap.

[–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

All food is not ice cream. All religions assert non testable claims. Some religuons are more similar than others, but to say that some are the same because they have one thing or another in common is stupid. By that logic you could claim all religions are the same.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

By that logic you could claim all religions are the same.

Yes, I could. Indoctrination of the susceptible minded who require something to motivate them other than the marvel of life itself. Sad really.

[–]Vulptex 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Only the organized religions.

[–]Vulptex 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's not what it's supposed to be for, but that's what it ends up being when the wordly establishment takes over.

[–]HiddenFox 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

We recently had school board elections here. 2.8% of eligible voters voted! Hilarious!

[–]iamonlyoneman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Next time you could get that all the way up to 4.3% if you go out canvassing neighborhoods making sure people know what' shappening here.
