Yes, although 90% of mobile users don't know how to install an apk manually.

Or they could just type 'parler.com' in to their phone web browser...

I really don't get why people are so reliant on apps to browse individual web pages. Especially when it's known apps are far more intrusive and gather more data than browsers.

Yes, but they won't get notifications and will be less likely to use it in their daily lives.

A good point, but it’d be a good thing if people were to spend less time responding to notifications like they’re an animal subject in a Skinner box.

    I don't know if those can do notifications or other advanced things. I think the icon just opens a web browser and points it to the site.
