There's a semantic disparity here that cannot be resolved due to a difference in perceived common knowledge. To troons, they obviously are real, and therefore any refusal to acknowledge them as real counts as genocidal, since they are after all narcissists, and not having your ego and identity validated as a narcissist is psychologically identical to having death wished upon you. It's literally all they have, so removing it to them is quite real death in a way.

GC people on the other hand simply don't believe trans is a real thing, and therefore acknowledging that troons "exist" means seeing them the way we see schizophrenics, but never treating their delusions as real. They respect their right to live, because what they know, and troons don't know, is there is an alternative to being a mutilated pervert.

But they can't explain this for the same reason: the all-encompassing narcissism of transgenderism refuses to allow another interpretation, another path, besides the one that satisfies their ego drive.

It's literally the same reason this site is being DDoS'ed. No one here is trying to genocide anyone. We're literally just saying the delusion you define yourself as is not real, and they're trying to shut us down for it.

One might even say there's a semetic disparity.

it's anti-Semantic, in fact

Yes, I thought it was common historical knowledge. Just like the anti-semantic holocaust of transpeople where they are slaughtered enmasse via internet misgendering. The anti-semantic Nazis carried out their holocaust of the Jews by hiring secret police who would crank call the Jews in the night with no warning.

"Hell I'm Jewish*

"Lol no aren't Jews don't exist!"

"Oh my"

And the Jews would just poof out of existence once they figured out they weren't real.

or like how the "pyramid of genocide" has things like "jokes" and "free speech" at the base--things the Nazis were always famous for

Great insight. Hence the concept of 'deadnaming'.

It's like a magic taboo. You convert to the new religion get rid of your pagan name and choose a sparkly new woke name like "Justice Sparkle Gaybottom"

It's so much easier to compare this stuff to religion. Like i acknowledge that christians exist but disagree with the validity of the ideology. I acknowledge that Muslims exist but I think it's silly that a bunch of you claim the need to kneel down and face a random cement cube in Mecca 12 times per day.

Honestly, it's somehow worse than religion. At least religion is based on a circular logic that- if you accept that God and their religious text exists, they both agree and prove the other is right.

By contrast, transgenderism is a religion that's core tenet is based on "I think, therefore I am". You think you are a woman, therefore you are a woman, and the simple fact that you exist is all the proof necessary to prove the religion is right. Heck, the fact all it takes is 'you exist, therefore it's true' means that the religion is true even if the person in it is lying. Even if they know they're only doing it because being trans is trendy, or they're doing it due to a fetish, or whatever, they're doing it, therefore they exist, therefore the religion is correct.

Religious people will also generally admit outside evidence to argue for or against God beyond Scripture. (sola scriptura people are, of course, not in this category.) I have seen and heard Christians argue for God using history, rationalism, empiricism, aesthetics, and morality. Troons simply reject any category of evidence beyond their ideology that rejects their thinking. Christians, on the other hand, tend to argue against the evidence itself.

Typical religions worship an external idol and promote the ideas of self sacrifice and reduction of the ego.

The trans "religion" worships an internal idol and in doing so automatically rejects those typical religious ideas. If you yourself are the idol then narcissism and ego are celebrated.

I think this is why it seems worse to the outside observer.

Of course. And it says something how trans "religion" and Internet "and in this moment..."-style atheism can go hand in hand in the Internet culture. Both of these pretend to not worship any gods or idols, but really worship them, themselves, as the idols. Both put stock on narcissism and ego, and a firm belief you are perfect. Hell, the goal of both is to feel euphoric in this moment.

Yeah I think that's right.

Christians will criticize atheists with the idea that with no God then there can be no morality. But I think there is some validity to such an argument. Without some kind of "higher morality" beyond the self then one can simply justify ego being the idol of sorts. Self worship seems ultimately unhealthy and anti-social.

At least with secular humanism you still have some overarching framework of morals and a higher power that exists beyond the self. Humanity as a concept.

I guess when the new atheists were encouraging people to leave religion because it was foolish and superstitious didn't realize that humans in general are foolish and superstitious and that religious organizations with all their problems did evolve over time along with successful societies probably as a stop gap to stabilize public idiocy and keep it from self destructing every generation by whatever odd social contagion comes about.

There's a weird thing with chickens, every once in awhile there will be an accident, an egg will break, and some curious chicken will eat it, and figure out "holy shit eggs taste good!" Then that chicken will go around and eat any eggs it can find. The other chickens see this and are like "wait a minute we can eat those!" And soon every single chicken is essentially a cannibal. They'll eat all their eggs, not reproduce and die. The chickens evolved to be this stupid due to human interference of course. We need them to eat so we just pull out the cannibals and fry em up and keep the other chickens blissfully unaware of the tasty eggs.

Looking at religion at face value it often seems pretty rediculous. Why would god pick some random guy in the desert who just happens to be a highly educated Egyptian prince on the lamb and give him a bunch of rules about civics and human behavior for stuff like not eating pork, separating the diseased from your main camp, all wrapped up in a bunch of ceremony.

Hmm what a mystery. Why would God choose some highly educated person instead of some illiterate savage. Hmm. What a mystery.Doesn't god realize some cynical type might accuse Moses of making it up to get the illiterate masses to practice basic hygiene. He should have just come down from heaven himself. I've seen him do it on the Simpsons!

Just to throw a bit more context. Humans are evolutionarily predisposed to religion by natural selection. This doesn't make too much sense if you presume gods don't exist but go back to the stone age and put a question into the proto human mind: "Everything happens for a reason Yes/No"

Now you have 2 humans. One thinks yes the other no. A bush rustles behind you and you think the bush rustles for a reason. You yell out a warning and your clan points obsidian spears at the bush. It was the wind or a predator that got spooked and snuck away. You never actually spot the lion. The other human hears the rustle but thinks it was just random sounds. A lion pops out and eats you.

The humans who think everything happens for a reason pass on their genetics. Other questions arise about the sun and moon and about the origins of mankind. Religion develops which itself be omes a survival mechanism on a society level. People read Leviticus and avoid getting tape worms from pork. Humans themselves then police the human belief in this religious mentality. Genes which promote curiosity outside the religion get punished. There is no lion but your fellow humans tie you to a tree and light you on fire.

Today it's more and more difficult to believe the old teachings because we have actual answers to most of the "mystery" the atheist minded people move on. Religiosity is still incredibly powerful, deeply ingrained in our genetics and some people become desperate to fill a void. It's actually a biological drive to find the religion of your tribe but your tribe is now the internet.

Centrist Doesn't Understand What Hate is

Ironically posted to a subreddit where nobody knows wtf hate is.

Hate is an intense dislike, that's ALL it is. It says nothing about disagreeing with opinions or wishing for genocide or denying existences or anything like that. None of that is implied in "hate". You can doubt one's "lived experiences" without hating them. And conversely, it is quite possible, and very common, to hate something but not wish it any ill will.

Goddamnit these Redditors are fucking retards.

I was so confused. I read the highlighted part and saw the sub was called "Enlightened Centrism" and thought: "Why is Saidit upset over this? That seems perfectly reasonable. What did u/M1GarandDad's title have to do with this?"...

... Then I saw the comments. People saw that perfectly reasonable thing to say and thought it was the worst thing in the world.

Imagine if they could hear what I'm thinking about them right now! :O

It'll always not be amusing when they need examples, they always need to choose black people...

As if black people choose to be born with black skin.

Doesn't this person realize how hateful this is? There's been proof afterwards saying Hitler may have had gender dysphoria. While this means he had dysphoria so Hitler was literally Hitler, it also means Hitler was a trans kween who killed six million cissies, most of whom were white, so really Hitler was the most heroic person to ever exist...and since most of them were Jews, he also supported Palestine! Support Hitler or you're literally Hitler!
