I'd agree with the idea that if you go around calling black people niggers to insult them you're most likely a racist. But people need to not be niggers about it. Like if someone comes up to you and says "you are a stupid violent thug" is your response "I am angry I beat you up" and prove them right?

The instant some dumbass comes out flinging n-bombs in a conversation they've lost the battle for public opinion, you've won, you don't need to do anything. Just ignore them. They aren't going to get anywhere with that.

I don't think the word holds any strength in today's society BUT at this point i would never say it, even as a joke, because of how unhinged people are on this topic. People are actually walking around thinking about how they would be justified to kill you for saying it and im sure people would record you and create some situation where you could lose your job.
