As opposed to?

I’ve literally never seen anyone wanting to disagree with the dominant transgender ideological position who wasn’t extremely polite. Even people like KJK who don’t mince words only ever resort to harsh words when they’ve been screamed at, threatened or assaulted.

In fact, having watched a lot of videos featuring TRAs and gender critical commenters, the only ones who seem to go ad hominem, raise their voices or make threats (including suicide threats) are the TRAs.

I would suggest that this image is more evidence of their standard tactic of DARVO (deny, attack, reverse victim and offender) and actual gaslighting, as opposed to the social media overuse of the term.

I mean, there are TERFs who call TIMs "pornsick autogynophiles" and such... whether accurate or not I certainly wouldn't call that polite.

they just keep throwing around "TERF" so often everyone forgets what the RFs actually believe: exempting themselves from rape laws, abolishing trials for rape defendants, wanting to flat-out murder your 14yo son for hitting puberty and admitting it in public, blocking mixed shelters, blocking campus men's centers, schlicking it to Amber Heard, and teaching undergrads that 9M wombxn were killed by the Protestant Inquisition in the witch hunts to conceal the fact that women reproduced parthenogenically before 1600 BC

even the most mainstream feminist phrases ("males tend to be more rivalrous and competitive") will get you thrown out of the right-thinkTM circles if you apply it to males with long hair and a skirt (Highland Scots?)

thing is, everyone had to applaud and bobblehead along whenever they turned their wackadoodles into policy, since you also had to take mandatory training courses created by them or no degree/job: it only changed when they touched the third rail and everyone "realized" at once that they never liked them and were just playing along due to social pressure and outright coercion

and it keeps happening--one forum I frequent literally banned someone for doubting Robin DiAngelo one month in 2020, and two months later was denouncing her as typical white-lady antiracism

...what's wrong with blocking mixed shelters?

[–]OuroborosTheory 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

because men and 8yo boys can also be abused? and, more to the point, why block a shelter in general? it's just an asshole move on principle

[–]SerpensInferna 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

Wow, okay.

Women are far more at risk of abuse from men in these situations and deserve safe spaces in this regard. Go ahead, I'll wait for your proof that this isn't true. Why is it a cardinal sin, in your list of other things you hate women for wanting, for women to want a space without men?

Personal experience - I worked at a DV shelter for a long time. Part of the reason I quit was because they began allowing "transwomen" in, and it was a straight up horror show every time. It only cemented my beliefs that women and children should have spaces of their own, whether because of homelessness or what have you.

Why is it wrong for men to have their own shelters, and women to have their own shelters? Seems like it stops a lot of complications.

ah, I meant they were the ones who shut down men's and family shelters: they don't think males of any age need shelters at all, and they were able to enforce that

[–]SerpensInferna 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That is absolutely not true. Why can't men create their own shelters instead of demanding access to women's spaces?

Personal experience - I worked at a DV shelter for a long time.

So you would be aware of things like the funding disparity and the screams of "your taking our funding away!!!!!" when mens shelters are proposed or even the cases where women and children are turned away because there is a male child above a certain age?

[–]SerpensInferna 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Absolutely that did not happen, I have no idea where your getting that info.

We had a women's shelter, and a program where men were able to stay in rental units away from the shelter (also funded by the programs we had). You are sadly and gladly misinformed and spreading lies about that.

[–]wylanderuk 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You are sadly and gladly misinformed and spreading lies about that.

And you are aware of what happens at every DV shelter everywhere with no exceptions...

[–]SerpensInferna 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I worked in a DV shelter for a long-ass time, did you?

It is not an issue. The issue is that men do not have these things, and are actively prohibited from having them. Only women are allowed to have them. Women are valued as human beings, but men are only valued as much as what they achieve.

[–]SerpensInferna 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

How are they actively prohibited from having them? Again, why do men not create their own spaces and insist on entering women's? I suppose this is why TRAs and really MRAs in thinly veiled disguise.

Women worked hard to create safe spaces for themselves, why can't men do they same? Why do men blame women for absolutely everything when they make their own beds?

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Because the few men who do that are ridiculed or even penalized by society; and no one would EVER support them. Men are not supposed to ever need help, they have to have it all together and solve everybody's problems or they are WORTHLESS.

It's not as if organizations for men don't exist. People don't support them. Prostate cancer is much more common than breast cancer, yet breast cancer gets all the support. Why? Simply because breast cancer is a woman's problem, while prostate cancer is a men's problem. And people naturally only care about the former.

All I hear is the distant sound of self-pitying sobs. That's no way to live life, man.
