The way this analogy actually makes sense in the world they want is that the man, woman, and "nonbinary" are all the same height to begin with and each need 1 box. Then they shift over the box and the man now can't see over the fence, the woman is at the correct height, and the "nonbinary" is up higher than needed but also still angry at the man for existing.

Lucky society in general isn't that dumb.

Equity is a made up word, and it's dangerous. I saw JD Vance rip the FAA head up over this. He made the greatest point on standards because the FAA has already suggested that credentials and qualification standards be lowered to get more poc into the pilot pool. Even that moron agreed that lowering standards for pilot qualifications to support "equity" was retarded. Equity is truly a racist idea.
