HAHAHA oh silly bigot. Look its quite simple really. If 97% of people are happier after transitioning then it stands to reason that those resisting transitioning are the mentally ill people. Why would you continue to cause your own internal suffering when you could transition and have a 97% chance to be happier in life?. Its just that easy. Fighting nature and your natural need to eat handfuls of estradiol while a doctor hacks away at your nether regions is just hurting you. Please get help. Please just allow the transitioning to happen. You'll be happier and more fulfilled in life if you just give into us. Join us and be free of your internalized bigotry and transphobia. do it now.

The stats I heard was that over 50% of trannies try and/or succeed in killing themselves. And I also heard transitioning has no effect on suicide rates. So yeah, I don't know where this 97% originated but I'm sensing some bullshittery involved.

I mean are they happy or are they saying they're happy because if they don't the other option is crippling regret? Lots of people can say they're happy when they aren't and that's without the pressure of a community that will jump on them and disown them for pointing out the problems they had with the surgery. Agree that you're happy or lose everything. Then there's a misery loves company element where some of them seem to pretend to be happy and delight in others getting surgery and having health issues from it.

Sadly I think it's actually a thing. Love what happened or you're a transphobe and excised from the community. Kinda terrifying tbh.

yeah, I joke, but I know that it really is a thing. It's been a thing in LGBT circles in general for as long as I can even remember.

if these stats are supposed to be acknowledged as significant then we also have to acknowledge detrans as statistically significant as well since both populations are so low compared to the general populace. if less than 1% of people being trans is important, then 3% of those trans people regretting it is too.

add to that the confirmation bias of psychiatric studies, the narcissism of the participants leading them to likely lie, and the failure of these studies to follow up consistently over long periods makes that number a nice piece of propaganda and nothing else.

If you did a survey of kids in school if they'd be happier in school studying algebra or at home watching TV what do you think the answers would be?

If you surveyed them right after you allowed them to stay at home and watch TV instead of going to school what would the answers be?

If you surveyed the kids 30 years later if they were happy they quit school to pursue television watching what would the answers be?

Nobody is happy with the mangled crotch they now have.

The most prominent ones are based on self-admitted online survey questions, like Jack Turban’s “studies”. It’s all just sunk cost fallacy.

any asshole can figure out instantly whether reassignment surgery actually solves a transgender person's problems or not. Just ask yourself the simple question: does the world actually look at them like they're the opposite sex after they finish getting the surgery? Because there's your answer and it's not even complicated.

I think that’s a reasonable approach. I believe that it gives them feeling of happiness, but as you said, it feeds their delusions. For comparisons anorexics also feel happy in a way when they lose weight. Yet with anorexia most of people want to help those who suffer and help leads to having a healthy relation with body, not constantly losing weight to the point of health risks or death.

It’s possible that change of style might make someone happy too, it’s a normal thing that many people do and yet the trans crowds associates appearance with sex/gender so it’s a trap. Just like these girls who think cutting hair shorter is a sign how non-binary they are.

And when it comes to something as radical as surgery, it’s even worse. Literal self-harm in the name of becoming the false self. No real help for their identity issues, only validating the results of trauma or porn addiction.

Not gonna lie, this is so surreal to think of. To be so obsessed with altering your body, wanting to have the genitals of the opposite sex (and other sex characteristics) because if not, life will be a misery and might end in suicide. Crazy stuff.

Psychologically the more impactful a decision a person makes for their own life, the more likely they are to have a sense of correctness in their decision.

The problem is that they run into the situation where it becomes beyond obvious that they made the wrong decision so it completely destroys their own mental state. It's far more than a sense of regret, it's like how we always say they are living in an alternate reality. At some point a person begins to sense that their perception of reality is wrong. They either need to detrans or double down on that alternate reality. Otherwise something just breaks.

If you interviewed a bunch of cult members if they are happy they joined the cult they'll invariably answer yes, because if they answer no they are former cult members.

If you ask someone who is brainwashed if they are brainwashed they'll answer no of course they aren't brainwashed so obviously it's rediculous to claim that they are brainwashed after they told you they aren't.

We're living in an age of artifice.

  • The metaverse is better than the real world.
  • Plant "meat" is better than real meat.
  • An open wound is better than the vagina of an actual female.

Put on your headset, eat the sludge, and fuck the laceration bigot!

Anorexics would he super happy if you gave them liposuction too, doesn’t mean it’s gonna improve their lives in any way.
Of course catering to a deluded persons delusion will make them happy for a minute.

Are they happy after how many years? Cause some of them are happy right after the surgery, but then go full doom when they notice that medical procedures can't change their biological sex and they will never be the same as a biological woman/man.
