I'm sure somebody could give you an explanation, I'm not sure any would be coherent. Mostly just people with fucked libidos/regular libidos in a world that seems to be telling them they should have fucked libidos trying to pretend they've historically faced the same problems as actual gay people. I've seen someone try to claim asexuals suffered corrective rape too, which just no.

Dude I've heard this too! That same person claimed that asexuals have historically suffered the same prejudice as gays and lesbians, and it's just like... where?? I would even be amenable to changing my mind if these kinds of people can provide even ONE example in all of world history where this was the case, but so far none. So shocking!

What's funnier is when they claim that of shit like demisexual. Doesn't happen. Nobody has ever been disowned for being demisexual. No parent has ever told their child "What do you mean you need to develop an emotional bond before feeling sexually attracted to someone? In this house we fuck on the first date!"

This looks like a server that would get banned. Just a warning, if you join this server and Discord bans it every single one of you will get your account banned. A couple weeks ago the WatchRedditDie server was banned, and I got an email saying my account was disabled at the exact same time. I tracked down some of my friends who were in that server, turns out every single one of them was banned at the exact same time and got the exact same message as me. And a bunch of other people got a warning just for having joined at some point.

Thanks for the heads up, we know about the T&S. The server's been up and running for almost 2 years now, no problems yet. I wouldn't be that surprised if it did get banned someday, but currently we have avoided being banned presumably for how private it is. I know of at least 12 other servers with 50-500 members that are still up. Just can't risk having it public and people reporting it, and can't grow too big. Still thinking of what possible backup options we could have. It sucks that big tech are so against freedom of speech. Do you know of any alternatives?

I've heard of Guilded and Matrix but haven't tried them. Really the only reason I even used Discord was to keep in touch with some of my old friends from Ruqqus and WatchRedditDie, who I will probably never see again thanks to this. And I know all of the ones in WatchRedditDie are probably in the same situation right now, unless they left the server or stopped using it and didn't have any roles.

I've seen their "Trust and Safety" try to drive people to suicide when they desperately tried to appeal (and they do not accept appeals, end of discussion). Discord would 100% have our heads on a stake if they could get away with it, and it's personal. I guess that's what you get when every single admin is a SJW gay trans furry, a low even reddit hasn't approached.
