I have one channel that scoffs the wokeness. It needed to be made after one of my communities insisisted that fire will only burn big businesses. Small businesses that get caught in the blaze inevitably? "oh well it's for the greater good of the cause!" They said this in the face of the son of a small business owner (who helps out in the business actively). When the small business over got mad, they call him the intolerable white supremacist.

Ugh, or the "don't worry, insurance will pay for it". Tell me you've never dealt with insurance without telling me you've never dealt with insurance eyeroll

Yeah I'm surprised that basically everyone I know bar a few agree with my, I assume, common sense takes. I shouldn't be surprised of course but that's the illusion it casts.

Honest, I don't pay that much attention to it. It is morbid curiosity that keeps me coming back here. If you'd allow me to advise, I'd suggest you ignore wokeness as much as you can, cutting off "friendships" with wokesters, stop going to woke websites, etc.

    They don't deserve any attention.

Yeah I've already tried to minimize the wokeness as much as possible, especially interacting with some people directly. It definitely helps.

Opposite of woke: sleep. I do the sleeping pill challenge, each time I take the same as last time, plus one. Build up a tolerance. Then one day, this Russian roulette game will pay out.

Chores and errands. The insanity doesn't bother me, but I understand why people don't want to dwell on it. Sometimes, it can be too much for some people.

The woke really ruined a lot of communities and friendships that I had. I started looking into their dark side in trying to understand what happened.

    [–][deleted] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It seems like you might be going through or recently gone through something similar to what I did. I just lost my entire friend group because I was outed as "gender critical". I put that in quotes because the things I said that I lost my friendships over was the simple truth (such as the fact that biological males shouldn't be allowed in women's sports), and to attribute them to a belief system like GC or radical feminism or whatever feels disingenuous.

I dunno man. It definitely hurts. I too am looking into the dark side to try to make sense of what happened, because I truly thought these people were my friends. We knew each other for years - you just don't get over those close friendships overnight. You have to be patient with yourself, and allow yourself to grieve the friendships. I'm talking with a therapist now to learn better ways to deal with it, because my current way of dealing with things is to remain pissed off about what happened. And that's not really helping me any.

Feel free to DM me if you want someone to talk to about all this. Wishing you the best for the future!

Same same. I'm speaking to a doctor too. I needed meds because I showed persistent physical symptoms of depression (constant nausea and vomitting)

How much are you willing to listen in the DM box? I got long long stories lol

    [–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Oh I'm willing to listen to all of it. Fire away!

No probs. I'll send it scenario per scenario because it's quite emotionally exhausting to recall them. Reply back to me whenever you've read one (with or without comments or questions) so i can give another.

Get some land in the country, do things that are actually fun, that actually bring you joy and peace

It is told in song that if you go out to the country, you can eat a lot of peaches. Also you can go "up country," and the water apparently tastes like wine.

The problem isn't just wokism, it is modern culture itself. Modern culture is horrible across the political spectrum and everything that it produces is crap. To get away from modern culture, I program in my own programming language which is designed to be the opposite of modern culture. I also would like to move to a Mennonite area so that I can attend conservative Mennonite church. I am not Christian, but conservative Mennonite church is anti-modernity.

This is EXTREMELY interesting. Would you mind expanding on that?

I'm studying to work in early childhood education, so kids 5 and under, and seriously hope I won't be the only non-woke person by the time I'm fully qualified and able to work. Way too many SJW preschool teachers who brag on TikTok about brainwashing their students.

In my spare time - I write fanfic, paint miniatures (40k), I play vidya, I cross-stitch sometimes, I chill with my cat. If the extremely rare opportunity to play a TTRPG that isn't D&D 5th edition comes up, I take it.

I have my hobbies (art - digital & traditional, writing, reading), studying and some university activities, going on walks and taking photos of nature, writing a journal (many pages being a sort of scrapbook too). Recently trying to learn a new language with an app.

I want to become a writer and an artist that will inspire people to look for something more in life.

Sometimes I engage in discussions providing arguments against SJWs, online and offline whenever it’s happening in my group (for example: once during a lecture, it became a topic that arose in certain discussion). I also stand against them in conversations with people I know in case any explanation is needed (mostly online, offline such situations rarely happen).

I just potter about, and yes, do art. But that's also my job. I dunno. I sort of put a distance to it. I've not really met anyone extremely woke more than a couple of times-even the trannies I know are kinda chill. Wokies will crash and burn, it's such a retarded way to relate to things and won't make anyone want to hang out. This is a trend and it'll pass. The only thing that gives pause is the amount of money spent to promote the crap. In any case, enjoy the circus and notice which entities join in, thinking they're clowns.

    Just make jam, have sex
