I am more shocked they used the word discrimination or its like in a post about white republicans.

I'm not sure i'm shocked. more like, slightly surprised. The wind is changing, and smart organizations have noticed which way it's starting to go.

Someone said that this ideology took time to take hold, it's going to take time to lose its grip. Just like each win for them secured their hold, each win for us secures their dismantling.

Utterly vile. Same people who say that not respecting pronouns is hurtful, easily admit they would actually hurt someone they dislike.

Even murderers are given medicine.

The iron law of woke projection.

They accuse others of what they would like to do themselves.

If I remember correctly, their training specifically covers the fact that they need to treat people they may personally find reprehensible. I hate the nutters who stormed the capitol as much as the next reasonable person, but the Hippocratic oath is a thing. And stupid passive aggressive crap isn’t going to fix anything anyway.

[–]LyingSpirit472 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Exactly. If you say you can give poor treatment to those you find reprehensible, it's one step away from them saying "this person just has a cough that'll be cured with over the counter meds...let me say they need cyanide..."

Which is why feminists will be bred out of existence and shunned from now on. Potential mates will be doing background checks on the "ex-feminists" going to ground, trying to hide their past. The scarlet letter will be much worse this time around. They've earned it.

You are so out of touch with reality.

Not presently. Shame isn't an argument.

[–]FourteenDigitz 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You didn’t make an argument yourself, you’re a sophist.

[–]DirewolfGhost 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

How would responding to a non-argument with an argument make any sense? You certainly are free with labels. Cute.

I did not intent to make one. There is no hope with people who are completely out of touch with reality (hot/sexy people especially women WILL pass their genes on).

Maybe a generation or two. There is no standard of beauty high enough to make a self respecting man sacrifice everything and men without self respect always lose in the long run to men with it. The witch trials were about breeding out disagreeable women. Women are more agreeable than men. Were discarded once they had served their purpose and if their offspring lack their cursed beauty then they don't receive the same benefits. Disagreeable women will be bred out of existence or the human race will go extinct. Or maybe we will develop a queen and worker drone system but the queen will be isolated from the world. Or artificial wombs and sex dolls will make them completely irrelevant.

LOL.

Men self sacrifice for progeny and legacy, not for women. Menelaus was a weak bitch. That's why Hector beat his ass.

[–]MyLongestJourney 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I am sorry what? Hector did not beat Menelaus ass. But Menelaus did beat Paris ass (at least according to the Iliad-Paris was saved by the intervention of the Gods). Are you thinking of the movie Troy?

Both men and women sacrfise for progeny and legacy. Granted, women tend to sacrifice more for progeny than for legacy.

[–]DirewolfGhost 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You're right. Aphrodite saved Paris and Menelaus lived in the book. My memory conflated the two. In the original the theory is the victor of Achilles and Hector would be decided by the crowd Homer was reciting to. Oral history is fuzzy. Still beat his ass in the movie.

Mothers sacrifice for progeny, women do not. That's why they're trying to erase the term mother now.

It's also racism, not just sexism.

"Those hateful words are not aligned with how I have provided care to my patients."

Uh, considering what you got busted for directly contradicts that claim, maybe you want to rethink lying so blatantly in your apology statement?

[–]LyingSpirit472 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The more people realize "saying you do incredibly hateful things for social media clout find out that they'll get punished as if they do hateful things", the better.

Next up, that tattoo artist who said they made the tattoo more painful and stick less because the person called them 'bro'.

Joke's on her, there are non prescription alternatives now

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Like meth

[–]Datachost 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Does meth not have the opposite effect? Is meth dick not a thing, or am I making that up?

It affects people differently. Some guys can't get hard on it, but for those who do, it's wild.

If people who think like her are going to get onto conservatives for not keeping their annoying opinions off the internet then they should be prepared to watch what they post as well. Twitter might be a massive echo chamber of liberal wokeness, but the real world is full of people who don't think exactly like you, and they will take note when you openly admit to discriminating against them.

So right now is not the time to fuck around as a nurse. You really, really need to watch everything you say as a nurse and hold all your political bullshit in. Radonda Vaught just got charged with some serious crimes for a MISTAKE, not even something that was malicious, a mistake. A mistake the hospital caused by the way with their med system.

Hospitals do NOT fuck around and nurses are treated like shit. Hospitals ONLY protect Doctors and really only the ultra valuable ones.

I think it's despicable that she (was probably pressured into) resigning over this. It's obviously a joke. Considering that women actually have had to deal with pharmacists choosing not to fill birth control or misoprostol prescriptions because of the pharmacists beliefs what's so bad about her joking about not filling an old mans prescription because of his beliefs? And how would she be able to tell the political views or voting history of her patients anyway, unless they literally walked in wearing MAGA hats?

I just find it suspect that women are typically the ones who are punished IRL the hardest when they make small gaffes especially online. Thinking about that woman who got fired after joking about getting AIDS while travelling to Africa too. You think the average man hasn't said or done things as bad or worse than that? and most of them don't get fired/ ostracized over it.

like come one there are plenty of doctors who have accidentally killed people and they weren't even fired for it.

[–]awkwardphilosopher 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

agree, it's pretty clearly a joke

[–]CreditKnifeMan 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

As I understand it, nurses can't prescribe medicine.

She was fired for being a fake ass burse.

[–]Nona_Biba 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

nurse practitioners can. they are effectively general practitioners but they don't have specialist knowledge and can't do surgery.

which makes this even sadder to me. they somehow made her feel the need to resign over a joke. So now the community lost a "doctor light" over a dumb joke on twitter that she can't even actually do (how will she be able to tell the conservatives from the liberals?)

I know that in Canada there's a certain category of nurses who can prescribe. Don't know about the USA though.

[–]CreditKnifeMan 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The US has physicians assistant (PA). It's above an RN.

Good. What a horrible approach. You treat people for what they need. Politics don't have anything to do with it.
