It's unlcear from this whether they pay more tax per person. - if the state takes in less tax in total, it's possible that the lower earners still pay less tax in Texas, despite paying a higher percentage of the total amount collected.

And at 105, any EVs parked in the sun are gonna exceed their battery's safe operating temperature of 160F. That seems like a bit of a problem.

Unbelievable. Apparently 26 US states have laws like this, most likely due to lobbying and pressure from AIPAC and associated groups. Also this passed completely unanimously, so it has 100% bi-partisan support. This is a clear signal of who really owns our government and law-making processes.
