The current ridiculous re-interpretation of legal authorities by the current administration and their purpose-appointed SEC director, being used to stomp out crypto currency exchanges currently, seem to throw such a wide dragnet, that doing so would require KYC, registration a money changer, and registration as a broker.

Heck, the current expressed interpretation, likely declares a grocery store clerk a broker, if they chose to enforce it.

Well that is sort of the consensus vibe we've been getting over the last 4 years or so. He barely shows up once in a while and leaves.
