I guess I'll start using this more often. I'm a guy pushing 40, just a simple information junky. But with the bullshit news about Reddit, it's time to find a new home. Hopefully this place will revamp, but also level out... Sometimes it seems there's too many rightoids around here

    The word "rightoid" is dehumanizing language. Why do you characterize it as too many rightist instead of not enough leftists? What difference does the balance make if nobody can be downvoted and moderators are forbidden from removing opposing opinions?

    Banning dehumanizing language is the first step in becoming Reddit.

    I'll stay on Reddit cuz there's lots of good information there. And yes it's shit now, but whatever. And I use the term rightoid cuz it's funny to say and a shout out to pcm, which is highly entertaining

    It's rightoids that are getting deplatformed. The left can congregate on mainstream platforms because they don't get removed.

    Because, I believe this is when major changes will happen. Prior to that I didn't notice much, except stuff like fatpeoplehate and wpd were gone. Plus I used bacon Reader, and generally was ignorant to any other drama or bullshit.
