One word - lakes. Get that woman into a boat, grab onto the paddles. As you sail on, so does the conversation. Her eyes will catch the reflection of light on water, so will yours, you will feel the need to quote a Shakesperean sonnet, she will complete it and Boom - you're married!

On a serious note: a hike sounds great! It lets the conversation flow and generally predisposes to a great mood for weeks.

Edit:spelling

I don’t know. Canoes can be a bigger test for a relationship then building ikea furniture.

Canoes, yes 😂, regular boats are less capricious, I find.

You bring a fantastic point: nobody should marry before going through the crucible of building an IKEA item together. :)

IKEA is prety easy tho, at least for me, as an engineer, and I have instruments and details to fix it, if it lacks something too (as it sometimes lacking a pin or two).

It’s not hard if you can sit down by your self and build it. It’s having someone else trying to build it with you that makes if frustrating.

Nah, I will let her built, and giggle when she will fail, then take her hands in mine and built it together :)

That happeneda actually once already, was a bit tough, as my hands were much smaller than her :D

On our second date, my wife invited me over to her rich parents house and wooed me with their many dogs and a cheese platter before sitting under the summer stars with a glass of champagne. I fucking love dogs, cheese and alcohol so I was won over pretty quickly.

My first date was always going out for coffee. Second dates were always a little cosier. I love the lake idea. Perfect summer date.

I third vote for the women who suggested lakes: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, or board wading are fun.

Bouldering (rock climbing in doors) is another fun, hands on activity.

The gun range, also exciting, and hands on.

Ooooorrrrrr my most favorite activity to do outside the home: THE LIBRARY!!! =D(if they're open in your area). What's more hands on than grabbing a book, plopping y'alls booties on the beanbags, and immersing yourself in a world of words! Then converse about the stories later over a cup of water.

Lakes can be pretty romantic!

Have you ever tried geocaching? My vote is for that (feels like an adventure!), and maybe a picnic.

In the words of Margaret Cho's mother: "Gays looooove a picnic!" 😁

Just found out about geocaching - thanks! Sounds so fun. Reminds me of the student days before GPS when our union organised treasure hunts for exchange students! Boy that was a blast!

... I definitely love picnics😂 Learned about geocaching in Girl Scouts back in the day, now I'm almost 30 and there are many more boxes out there!

I always enjoy a nice hike, especially if there is a waterfall. There's something about the water that is so exciting. Also all the suggestions around lakes and kayaking are great. If you ladies get hot you can always go for a dip ;)

What do you like to do out in nature? I would just invite her to that, so she gets to know a bit more about you. Even if it is not that active or special, for me it is not about selling anything, but just showing who we are so the other woman can decide whether to stick around or not.
