There's only like three things in this whole list that make sense. I always thought that later bloomer bisexuals called themselves lesbians because older generations don't really take bisexuality seriously, but honestly it just feels that these people don't care about lesbians.

For me this one wins the award: "Birthdays, Christmases, holidays, families: I feel as if my life would be less complicated with a woman.". Yeah. Sure. So much less complicated.

For real. It’s so tone deaf. I’m not even welcome at family occasions BECAUSE I’m a lesbian. But sure, it’s so easy, a lesbian couple is clearly just gal pals + sex with no worries at all.

As an actual LBL the complication of being gay was exactly what I was apprehensive about. I hate attention. I just wanted to live my life and not stand out or at least not stand out for something other than an accomplishment. Less complicated my ass.

Saaaaaame. I didn't want to see I was a lesbian because I didn't have the mental strength/stability to shoulder the hardships. Drawing attention particularly

With me it would probably be more complicated because I love birthdays and some holidays (you betcha if I can have a huge feast around Thanksgiving, I will).

I love holidays and family reunions as well! I was trying to be ironic hahahaha these situations are usually so much harder being a lesbian because there's almost no chance your whole family will be 100% ok and open

All of my family is Polish and I'm sure that if I ever brought a girl home, maybe two members of my family would be accepting. I know I will never come out to any of my grandparents or any of my older family, they'd probably have a heart attack, and even with my cousins and siblings it'll be heavily judged beforehand because of our Catholic upbringing. But yeah, sure. Being a lesbian is soooo easy.

I'm estranged from my family so I don't get to have family reunions at all - ironically very easy!

But what does that even mean? Is she saying that a woman would be remembering birthdays, cooking Christmas meals etc., so she'd have less work to do, and so it proves she's a lesbian?
