Lentil soup. So easy and so many variations.

Put dried red lentils into pan. Add chopped onion and garlic. Add water. Add stock cube (vegetable, chicken or ham). Add choice of herbs and spices (chicken cube with some turmeric, cumin and black pepper is my favourite combintion at the moment). Heat until boiling. Cover and simmer until cooked.

Takes about 5 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to cook. If it's too hot to eat soup then let it reduce down and then cool it and you have a nice lentil paste you can have with nibbles.

My lazy soup is champignon soup. Put finely chopped potatoes and few macaroni into the pot with water and put it on fire, during that fry 2-3 minutes a bunch of champignons with tomato pasta or tomatoes or carrots (add any kind of spices you like). Then put fried stuff into the soup and grate cheeze right before turning fire off. Takes 5-10 minutes to make, no effort needed, very cheap and decently nutritious.

Sheepishly my lazy meal is canned soup in the microwave...not very creative or as impressive as this! Ha

Buckwheat! Just pour some water and it will be ready on its own after few minutes. And then just add some canned fish in oil, and it is done. Tasty, nutritious and healthy.

And I can eat buckweat whole day every day! Sadly I can't be lazy every day and need to follow specific diet because of body dysfunctions.

Luckily I don’t have to think about it. My closest neighbor loves to cook, is by herself, and makes us a random assortment of freezer meals for the hell of it.

Uh, I think I need to move in so I can be next to your neighbor.

I wouldn’t blame you one bit.

Do you have to cook the bacon separately and then put it in the omelette?

Nearly all of my meals are lazy meals lol, but when I do cook, it helps to cook in bulk and freeze. So I have a freezer full of things like turkey ragu, turkey chili, and home made chicken noodle soup made in a slow cooker.

Bootleg elote; can of corn, spoonful of mayo and cajun seasoning and little bit of parmesan cheese. So good and so quick, my go to meal when I'm too depressed to cook but need to eat.

I love an Irish comedian's remark ont the topic: "Dipping bread into something runnier than bread". But I'm at the sandwich and salad level for now. With spice experiments when I feel adventurous :)

Noodle stir fry. I typically use garlic, fresh carrots and frozen soy beans. Either boil rice noodles and add them at the end or add instant noodles straight to the pan at the beginning with a bit of water. Sauce includes gochujang(Korean red pepper paste), small amount of vinegar and sugar, some boullion, and soy sauce. Other good add ins are mushrooms, bok choy, cubed tofu, onion, green onion, seaweed snacks, sesame oil, sriracha, and sesame seeds.

If I am really, really lazy: cereals and yoghurt. If I am less lazy than that but still lazy: french cheese and chive omelette (french omelette not french cheese).

Feta cheese and cherry tomatoes garnished with olive oil and oregano.Goes great with fresh bread or rusks but since I avoid carbs,I only have the feta-tomato combo.

Eggs over easy for breakfast. Chicken and fried rice for dinner. I don't really have lunch that often.

Bacon and over-medium eggs, sometimes on toast. Or a pb&j.
