Virtue Signaling"Juliet was a drag queen!"

I read a post this morning by someone involved in the theater telling a (somewhat unbelievable) story about having to consult with a lawyer before putting on a production of a Shakespeare play that will involve some cross-dressing as part of the plot.

Now they're claiming that because women were not allowed to act on the Tudor stage and women's parts were played by men, that "Juliet was a drag queen." I expect soon to hear that Juliet was really a trans woman, although I'm sure that some trans academic has already written that paper.

I would say that, no, Juliet was NOT a drag queen because the cross-dressing for the 16th C. English stage was done for completely different reasons and with a completely different intention. But since when has historical accuracy gotten in the way of making a hysterical point?

The TQ+ crowd has always tried to rewrite every drag queen and cross dresser in history as trans. I guaruntee that they'll claim every actor and character from the Tudor era was an egg in a time where they weren't allowed to come out.

Because deep down they know it's a fetish. So they think that anyone who puts on womens clothes must be exactly like them and get sexual gratification from it.

They've done the same thing with Joan of Arc & claiming that female vikings were really transmen because they wore armor.

Yeah, what are transmen if not females who think it possible to identify out of oppression? It's telling I think, positive thinking taken to its delusional extreme. They have to rewrite the bad parts and put a positive spin on it, like it was actually a good thing

People are mixing drag queens with trans and gays. Idk what they have in common tbh. Its because gay men can be femenine?

The other day i read a post on reddit saying we are "applauding our demise" because some gay men agree that drag shows should be restricted. That we are next on the chopping block. Again idk what this controversy has to do with us. Fearmongering is pretty popular on reddit.

they want to tie us to any man in a dress, so they get lgb and straight sexualites to fight and defend their gender ideology. So they scare us with "AFTER THEY ARE DONE WITH TRANS, YOU ARE NEXT!!!1!

DId they mean Juliet was played by a man in a dress so therefore is a drag queen, or that the character of Juliet herself was a drag queen?
