Then why are trans women prisoners 4 times as likely to be in prison for sex crimes than normal men?

Seems like they're more of a danger than just regular ass men to me.

What's your source?

I mean, I hate to say it because I agree with the sentiment, but we really shouldn't be celebrating cancel culture bullshit like this just because the person dredging up the past is "on our side." Like, that was from 2009, which feels like yesterday, but was actually 13 years ago. Aside from the fact that people can change, we should also be able to counter arguments without directly attacking the person making the argument as though something they did in the past automatically invalidates anything that they have to say.

That's true but in this example it seems relevant in regards to being able to judge someones character

Maybe, but 13 years is still a long time. Not in the grand scheme of things, sure, but someone's character can change a lot in that amount of time, and if people aren't ever allowed to learn and grow from their mistakes (not necessarily saying that Boy George has, because I don't know him personally), then that's not great. For all we know, that whole thing could have been the result of untreated mental illness and he's since been getting treatment and doing better.

Personally, I'd go the route of looking at the original tweet and him talking about "opinions" while acting like he's speaking objective truths and "respect" while simultaneously disrespecting an entire group of people with the whole "if you don't like me having an opinion, you can fuck off" and just point out his hypocrisy that way.

Like, if you knew someone who had a psychotic break a decade ago and beat up their husband because they thought he was literally a demon from Hell coming to kill them, but they've been on medication and treatment and haven't had any issues since then, and they said something you disagreed with, would you just be like, "Yeah, well remember when you beat up your husband? That means everything you say from now on is completely worthless."

Just because Boy George is a celebrity doesn't mean he's not also a person, and I personally think it's harmful to act like it's okay to treat people a certain way just because they're in the public eye if you wouldn't treat someone you knew that way.

I get your point, but really someone has no business telling women that their boundaries are bullshit when they and a friend handcuffed an escort to a wall, beat him and got a box out of the closet filled with chains, leather straps and sex toys to punish him while they were on cocaine.

Sure you can change and be a better person. But that does not include telling women to shut up and take it.

FYI, I have to remove your comment for advocating violence/being bottom on the Pyramid Of Debate.

"false imprisonment" is such a weird term. How can it be "false" if the person was literally imprisoned?

I looked it up and it says without the authority of the legal system. I guess it's implying that only the state can imprison someone.

Do you think he's a "terf in the sheets"?

George's old estranged androgyne friend Marilyn piped up to tell George he's full of shit, people can't change sex. Pretty based. Then I fell down a rabbit hole checking out what Marilyn's been doing, apparently a lot of drugs. Acting like a maniac, filming himself lurking outside George's mansion gate on a frigid Christmas Eve night, cackling. So weird but entertaining.

Marilyn has never been a particularly well person unfortunately but I did enjoy that post from him.

Oh wow. Years have gone by, but apparently the drama never ends with those guys. Now you've got me curious, I'm going to jump into that rabbit hole, see what the original Club Kids are up to.

Oh George no. I expected so much more from him. IIRC, wasn't he at one point slammed for supposed "transphobia"? Maybe he's just trying to get the kids to like him again.
