Such BS. I loved one comment specifically: "This biphobic bullshit is why we need spaces like this. I like cats. They're cute. I also like turtles. They're cute too. By your logic I should have no problem owning a cat that has been surgically and hormonally altered to look like a turtle or vice versa. I'm not required to do that. It seems like people think that because we're bisexual, we'll fuck anything that moves---as though we have no preference or standards....then there's the flip side where people tell us we have a "choice" to be "gay or straight", when we born being attracted to both...

I think it speaks to a general lack of critical thinking skills. Formally educated liberals like to say, "those uneducated conservatives!" but, at least in the US, most of them are barely any better at critical thinking and don't spend the energy to do it because they weren't taught that at school. Much less to be on the lookout for harmful ideologies that basically function as replacements for religion among many in the "well-educated" population. (Full disclosure I'm liberal and "well-educated" lol.)

I'm bi so trans people probably don't want to have sex with me in the first place because it isn't that validating for them but when I tell them I wouldn't touch them with a 39 1/2 foot pole and they shit themselves I laugh.

They only want what they can't have. They figure that you'd be OK with them since you can find each of their parts attractive in any existing context so you're worthless to them, but then they are shocked when they find out you don't like all those parts in the transgender combination.

No sensible person would suddenly lose or gain interest in someone based purely on learning that they are or aren't attracted to them. Someone might not act on that interst if they think there's no chance with someone (man crushing on a supposedly straight guy) and then show that interest upon finding out there is a chance (supposedly straight man comes out as not straight), but no one should reject someone because they are attracted to them... that's how you end up having no overlap between people you're attracted to and people attracte to you
