I know in Iran LGB people undergo sex reassignment surgery to escape the death penalty. So basically it's seen as ok to be trans but LGB get potential death.

I'd day that's a punishment worse than death, but maybe I'm wrong

You’re not wrong. If I was forced to choose between being hanged or getting a sex change, I’d go with the death penalty. I’d die a martyr.

If I had to choose between death or total bodily mutilation, I would definitely choose death. Death cannot strip me of who I am, I refuse to live a lie when death is an option

What you’re saying is: * 77: number of countries where being a homosexual or bisexual man is criminalized.
* 44: number of countries where being a homosexual or bisexual female is criminalized. * 11: number of countries where being trans is criminalized.

Wow. Trans people have it so hard globally.

Seeing this I think that you're more "opressed" as an atheist because it is punishable by death in 13 Muslim countries, lol.

And even in western countries laws are bending to them, while homosexual laws are still under question in many countries.

This could also be because transition is so rare as to not realistically exist in most countries. So why even have a law for it.

Note the way they word it: "Criminalises the gender identity/expression of trans people". Lebanon for example has a law that criminalizes crossdressing for males (basically a form of homophobia), yet allows for "sex change" operations and the modifying of legal documentation for transsexual people. Same with Indonesia where there's a law against "indecency" (vague wording, but also a form of homophobia) yet transition is legal. All in all, it seems they are really scraping the barrel for some of these.

Excellent thanks. I did look at that website but somehow missed the trans section

A couple of those countries the laws aren't even enforced. Two countries I can think of is Kenya and Singapore.
