Would it kill you exclusionists to incorporate some stargender?

Just found my new gender identity uwu! 🌟 Stargender/Starsexual looking for another star to collide with, let's destroy this trash solar system 😂 pronouns: star/stairs/stars

Eta: this is the coolest flag though, why do they keep wasting cool flag designs on made up bs.

What the hell I just read. It sounds exactly like something from The Onion, but it's for real... holy shit.

Kind of like the alternate flag.

Otherwise, I don't know whether to laugh, cry or shake my head at it all.

Why can’t these people contribute to SCP stories? At least they’re entertaining fiction.

I listen to creepypasta and heard the term SCP from time to time. It is like a kind of MiB organization?

It's an original spin on the MIB concept.

The SCP ("Secure, Contain, Protect") Foundation: super-secret outfit dedicated to keeping humanity safe from, and ignorant of, paranormal stuff ("SCPs") which can't be destroyed. Creating/chronicling it is a collaborative writing project, based on short stories.

What's distinctive is the short stories' style: they're written in the form of scientific reports, and use that to generate mood. The thoroughly-unemotional, just-the-facts tone contrasts creepily with the mindbending weirdness being described, and much unease results from the strategic use of... redactions! (Which allow authors to hint at Terrible Things... and your imagination to do the rest.)

But beware: I've heard that the transcult has infiltrated SCP, too! As in some contributors now writing stories "centering" their obsession with T identity. Is nothing sacred? But I guess it DOES qualify as scary (just not in a fun way...). Apparently the ONE weird-ass thing that SCP has failed to secure, contain, or protect us from! :(

Very interesting. Thanks for explaining it. I kinda get a very 'House of Leaves' vibe when reading about SCPs like the campus stairs one(087). Mostly those that involve some sort of exploration or descent into impossible structural spaces, unique from their ordinary counterparts where one is not meant to linger long anyway(liminal space?). Usually lacking in illumination(physical and figurative) due to some presence. Yeah, that compounds the unsettling feeling; Being alone with phenomena that doesn't quite add up and so makes one uncomfortable. Like a penis on a female.

Yeah kind of, it’s something like, secure contain protect, so essentially it documents and is a storage facility for paranormal entities. Just a fun wiki really with some really creative articles.

The most popular and well known would be good old 173, also gives a good idea of the vibe of the site.
