The two obvious additions to the "Refuting TRA Nonsense" category:

"Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters" by Abigail Shrier

"The End of Gender: Debunking the Myths about Sex and Identity in Our Society" by Debra Soh

I'd like to add When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment by Ryan T Anderson

A wonderful idea! The last LGB book I read (and liked immensely) was 'Proper English' by KJ Charles. It's a historical lesbian romance with a quick pace and interesting characters. Plus a murder!

Kiss the girl and tipping the velvet. Lesbian romance.

Stonewall : the riots that sparked the gay revolution by David Carter for non-fiction.

I also read Irreversible Damage by Abigail Shrier and it’s heartbreaking and will peak anyone who gives it a chance.

LGB Non-fiction - The Mayor of Castro Street is a book I feel like everyone should read. I take so much inspiration from his coalition-building, and I think today's activists of all types could learn from him.

Such a good idea, OP!

Refuting Trans Nonsense:

  • "Gender Hurts: A Feminist Analysis of the Politics of Transgenderism" by Sheila Jeffreys

Refuting Trans Nonsense, Supplementary Edition (because it's mainly of interest here for the trans-related parts, and that subject isn't the book's actual focus):

  • "Galileo's Middle Finger: Heretics, Activists, and One Scholar's Search for Justice" by Alice Dreger

.... & more to follow! (promise)

Yes! I would love this! Maybe we can have a movie/show/podcast/etc section as well. For example, I've just downloaded Hannah Gadsby - Nannette, which is a Netflix stand-up comedy show by an Australian lady who is a lesbian and autistic. I can't recommend it yet because I haven't seen it, but it's supposed to be very good.

Seconded! An LGB "screen" (& podcast) section would indeed be welcome.

Esp. cuz... well, I don't know about you, but I'm always on the lookout for bi content in particular; as scarce as LG stuff can be, seems like fare geared towards our letter is rarer than the proverbial hen's teeth. And even more so if you also demand quality! (At this point I feel lucky if I can find ANYTHING, as lackluster or downright crappy as it may be.)

Good idea. Camille Paglia's ''Sexual personae'' must be at the top of that list :D

The last book I read on this topic was the infamous "The Transsexual Empire" by Janice Raymond from 1979. I was shocked how much of it is still relevant.

LGB Fiction:

  • "Rubyfruit Jungle" by Rita Mae Brown (classic lesbian novel)

LGB Nonfiction:

  • "Confessions of a Failed Southern Lady" by Florence King (witty autobiographical account of the bi author's unconventional youth)

Yes! My recommendations for the "Refuting TRA Nonsense" category have already been mentioned, so I'll suggest a wonderful little sci-fi lesbian novel I read recently, This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone.
