God I hope it will be over sooner rather than later. They're going after women and LGB people because they're easy targets, but they're honestly going to hit a brick wall if they try to force this extremism on the world at large outside of twitter/LGBT groups. People like myself, who was until recently on board the TRA train, are waking up to how homophobic and dogmatic the TRA movement really is. The wide-scale and disturbing erasure of lesbian and gay identity is in full swing and it's so painful to watch.

Even if it is a futile fight, I won't give up the values I've learned from this. I'll always remember what the gay community used to be, how strong and proud we could be together before we were sabotaged by this movement. And I won't buy into an ideology just because some authoritarians masquerading as progressives are screaming that it's right.
