Worf and Geordi's characters were victims of racism

Wait what? I mean some of Worf's treatment in the series was because he was a Klingon, are they saying it was because Worf was played by Michael Dorn (a black man)? My mind is kind of boggling. What was wrong with the way Geordi was treated? Its been a while since I saw the series but I don't remember any racism.

There wasn't any. The OP in the thread I saw (it was a few months ago on r/startrek) was claiming that it was racist that Geordi's character was awkward with women and couldn't get a girlfriend. There seems to be a trend of revisiting old TV shows and movies with a 'social justice warrior' lens. After all, if our society is institutionally racist now, it had to have been back then, too, for the Critical Race Theory narrative to make sense.

If I recall correctly the number of characters on all the star trek shows that I saw that got laid at all is in the single digits.

As far as I know O'brien was the only member of engineering to get any action. I didn't watch Voyager or any later shows tho, so I'm going off of TOS, TNG, and DS9.
