reddit is a for perverts, not consistency or logic or fairness or anything else. The reasonable subs are just part of the "front" as in a business that is a front for illicit activities. That's why the porn subs can be as "phobic" as they want, at least until the trans is accepted there as unquestionably as it is everywhere else on reddit.

Any evidence? Never heard of the rule.

That particular sentence could be deemed "hate speech", so maybe it would fall under Reddit's (batshit) hate speech policies.

As far as I know bans always come from mods not admins. The reason being that if mods allow those comments the sub might get banned. That doesn't mean there aren't subs that allow those comments, which may or may not get banned later.

I've had admins remove my comments and explain that this is due to sitewide rule.

This was a few months back and on an edgy subreddit so might not reflect what reddits policies are.

Do you have evidence/source for this?

Interesting. What is the logic of not telling users that their posts are being banned for 'transphobia'? Are they afraid users will post those ban messages publicly?
