Vaccination forms asked for "sex assigned at birth"

Just got vaccinated. The title says it all. Anyone else had this experience? I'm in the U.S.

In the life insurance industry underwriting is based on your sex, no questions about gender identity or being assigned as anything.

And they are okay to trigger some intersex people who were victims of this medical mistreatment called "assigning sex at birth and doing IGM instead of doing more tests to find sex"?

Just appropriate phrase and throw it around? I guess it is same as with word "queer", which is to this day used as anti-gay slurand followed with violence.

We KNOW this disease has different male/female fatality rates and that WOMEN may have severe side effects from the J&J. So stupid.

I think you're right to do that actually. How is the general public supposed to believe that a vaccine is safe and tested when leadership isn't bothering to collect essential data on it?

Not excusing anti-vax stuff. Just saying that such agenda-driven decisions fuel people's mistrust and that has an impact on how cooperative they are.

Absolutely - how can we trust public health officials when they lie to us about something as fundamental as biological sex?

These lies are definitely help fueling public mistrust, and, as we all know, will be incredibly damaging to our knowledge of vaccine safety, efficacy, etc., going forward. It's madness.
