I think you're right to do that actually. How is the general public supposed to believe that a vaccine is safe and tested when leadership isn't bothering to collect essential data on it?

Not excusing anti-vax stuff. Just saying that such agenda-driven decisions fuel people's mistrust and that has an impact on how cooperative they are.

Absolutely - how can we trust public health officials when they lie to us about something as fundamental as biological sex?

These lies are definitely help fueling public mistrust, and, as we all know, will be incredibly damaging to our knowledge of vaccine safety, efficacy, etc., going forward. It's madness.
