I remember last year when this account first appeared. It really just goes to show that so many of the young people getting suckered into trans world are totally clueless about how human sexuality works.

I think this is partly because so many are very young and with extremely limited flesh-and-blood, real-life experience. One of the reasons they are so vulnerable to being hoodwinked by, and totally falling for, the myriad lies promulgated by the Church of Genderology is that they seem to have little knowledge of themselves, others and social relations more generally coz they haven't spent much/any time getting a range of life experiences. Most of their lives have been spent cocooned at home or in school, in "safe" clubby circles like the "queer" group she mentions, or in bubbles/silos on the internet.

Also, this unfortunate woman illustrates so many of the self-destructive psychological patterns discussed in books like The Coddling of The American Mind and elsewhere: catastrophic thinking; lack of resilience and perspective; ruminating; constantly reliving past humiliations in your mind and rehearsing all the negative feelings you felt; believing you can read other people's minds; assuming other people's behavior you find distressing is always motivated by the meanest and worst motives on their part - and that what other people do is always about you, never about them...

It also illustrates another widespread problem today - that too many people seem to have no sense of humor at all, particularly about themselves. In other hands, this episode in this woman's life would be told as a very funny, self-deprecating story of a naif coming up against the hard, cold reality of how the world actually works - and she would have related that it taught her some important life lessons. Instead it's just a self-pitying whine.

That book sounds really good. I am not American, but I can see it being worth reading.

I remember when I was 21, I said and did so many idiotic things that haunt me to this day. This young woman is not at all ashamed of making a fool of herself (which would be normal). She did not stop for a second to think she had nobody else to blame but herself. She learned nothing from this interaction.

She still blamed those men, despite the fact that they were civilized and did not react in a violent manner.

She is a cretin.

The general psychological principles in the book are applicable elsewhere, perhaps everywhere, and what's discussed in the book has wider relevance. But coz the authors focused on what was happening on US college campuses and in the US specifically, and probably for lots of other sound reasons as well, they framed it as a specifically "American" phenomenon and aimed the book at a US audience. I'd imagine that even in other cultures where very similar trends are happening, there would be differences coz of different cultural traditions, different histories and different material conditions. The US is set apart from a lot of other places coz of factors like its excessive individualism, atomization, consumerism, the mix of cultures and ethnicities, the legacy of US slavery, the huge gulf between rich and poor, and the country's unusual attitudes and laws re free speech, guns, welfare and health care.

If the story is true, that young woman is an ass.

I love the way gay men ignored her.

If only women could get it together enough to do the same to transbians..

[–]linda_senora[S] 10 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Women need more help.

Transbians are incredibly violent.

Agreed but the biggest difference I see in the gay men in this story and lesbians is how gay men just all stick to their guns together. That's why they were successful in getting this girl out. If 2 or 3 of them let them in, and said "hay guys this is totally dudepussy, you need to have sex with them or else you're all out" it wouldn't work quite as well.

Women need to get their collective shit together. I don't know how we can do that, but we need to.

I agree with you, but the prob is that we have lots of bi women being convinced they're lesbians or for some stupid reason wanting to be lesbians and these are the women who put actual lesbians out. It's much rarer (though it does happen) to see a bi man claiming to be gay and shaming other gay men. But you see lots of bi women wanting to be gay because "women are these godless beings and men suck " or any other stupid generic phrase. Even because of the infamous lesbian master doc. Besides, trans women are much more dangerous to lesbians than trans men are. Trans men have no strength power over them.

But there's no evidence the gay guys at this gay male sex party had a confab and decided to "stick to their guns together" out of political solidarity or that gay men of the age group/generation at this party have generally gotten "their collective shit together" far more than women have.

The guys at this gay male sex party had no choice or option to behave in any other way in this situation coz of their male biology and physiology.

When males get sexually aroused their dicks get hard, grow considerably in size and stand up and out, away from their bodies. And their balls get larger too. It's something that's very visible and unmistakable. And it can't be faked.

Even if a couple of guys decided to have sex with this young woman out of political correctness or "kindness," they wouldn't have been able to use their dicks to penetrate her coz their dicks would have been limp (or if they started out with hard dicks coz of help from the other guys, they would have gone soft while trying to penetrate the TIF). And if any of these guys decided to finger the TIF or give her cunnilingus so she didn't feel left out, it would have been evident to all the other guys at the party that the guys engaging in these acts were not at all aroused as whilst doing so coz they wouldn't have had erections.

You are right.

Sadly, too many women (like Mama Dr Jones and women who now call themselves lesbians because their husbands are porn sick) are too eager to please dicks.

it was extremely validating to be asked to join.... I know I’m a man but Id never felt more invalid than that point in my life.

These people's egos are a freaking house of cards, I swear. It is so sad. Rather than be completely dependent on other people to constantly reinforce her fragile sense of identity, why doesn't she just go through life as a straight, androgynous woman and stop terrorizing gay men? I bet it would be easier and she'd have more success.

This Reddit post was posted a while ago in s/LGBDroptheT. It did not appear to be the work of a troll and I’ll note that it was posted in a trans-specific subreddit and taken fully seriously by the posters there. So even if it was crafted by a troll it was realistic enough that it was interpreted by the group as realistic. Some recognized the poster as expecting too much of gay men, but only because they thought she was too early on in her transition to expect different treatment. They still believed the gay men were transphobic though. Can you imagine this happening with the sex reversed? Terrifying.

If a trans identified male had been invited to a lesbian sex party, I am sure he would have raged and yelled at every woman who dared to reject him. He would have groped a few of the women and engaged in physical violence (slap or punch? IDK).

He then would have proceeded to sue everybody whose name he could remember and probably sue the venue if it was a club of some sort. If the venue where the party took place was a private house, he would have doxed the owner and had a few other TIMs threaten the owners.

I also think that the ore sensible lesbians, would have quietly leave the place as soon as they saw a man come in.

This. When she said "they didn't want to fuck me so I went to cry in the bathroom, but I'm a man!" I thought oh sweetie, no....

I cannot help it, I just started cackling when she said the men physically recoiled from her.

It serves her right.

I don't know if this particular story is true, but I've seen a few articles in the past by women who were upset about being kicked out of gay saunas and clubs because they were female. There was also a gay event in New Zealand about 3 or 4 year back during Wellington Pride I think it was that was bullied and eventually dropped by the official Pride because it was a male only event. So people like this woman are definitely out there.

Why do trans people want to attack lesbians and gay men?

Even worse, why are some lesbians and gay men willing to side with trans identified people even when Ts have proven to be homophobic?

It is madness.

Ngl, I cackled while reading that. But what's not funny is the guy seemingly setting her up for disappointment.

I went through a "trans phase" (lesbian to straight man, in my head), and being rejected by straight women was brutal. No one convinced me to do it... I just had the audacity to "catfish" women. Didn't take me long to stop pretending to be a guy and return to the appropriate dating pool with gay/bi women.

But what's not funny is the guy seemingly setting her up for disappointment.

I imagine that guy, being similar in age and a part of the same queer group as her, is just as naive and delusional as she is. They probably both have been conditioned to believe that sexual attraction is entirely in the mind and everyone is naturally pansexual aside from a few transphobic bigots.

✋ ffs, stop assuming men have good intentions.

[–]WildApples 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with assuming men have good intentions. I would have said the same thing if the sexes has been reversed. My assumption is that all of the people involved in her woke, queer group are as delusional as she is because the rational people would have been weeded out as transphobic.

I've read this before. All i could think was that, if the story was true, the woman was very, very lucky she wasn't abused.

[–]linda_senora[S] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I did not think of that.

You are right, though.

[–]adungitit 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Why do you think a bunch of gay men would abuse a woman?

[–]jet199 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I remember the original on reddit, it's real.

Good!

It made my day.

I laughed so hard!

[–]GConly 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yes I laughed.

What did she expect? They like dick.

[–]linda_senora[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

In all fairness, she IS a dick.

Tras masculine/ trans identified females who claim to be gay are just as revolting to me as trans identified males who claim to be lesbians.

[–]desertbloom 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Reading how she went to the bathroom to cry but still told herself she's a man is so surreal...While yes, sure, men can cry and whatever, how does someone behaving still believe they're male when their whole identity consists of gender stereotypes to begin with. There you are acting like a stereotypical hormonal teenager girl and still you insist there's some magical masculine soul in you that means you ought to belong at that party.
