Is this just me or does Reddit have an agenda?

I’m not talking about bans either. So I am not in any LGB subs, I have visited AL and Arethecisok from links from here and LGBdroptheT. I get no notifications from any of my subscribed subs but 8/9 per day from the two I mentioned. Quite odd that- notifications from non-subscribed subs but nothing from subs I’m actually subscribed to. Sounding a bit conspiracy-ish here, but Reddit majorly has a trans agenda.

Odd question. Reddit has been defending TRA for a few years already, so yes, reddit admins have an agenda, promoting gender theory and transgenderism.

It was more regarding the notifications from subs I’m not even subscribed to- did the title quickly and it’s not a great one. I didn’t think TRAism would be forced upon you unless you’re subscribed to it. I.e. not just banning, but force feeding you the bullshit. Has anyone else had this?

I get email notices from Reddit telling me of the latest posts to TRA subs all the time. The only subreddit I am subscribed to currently is AskReddit. In the past, the only other one I was subscribed to was GC.

I look at the detrans subreddit on a regular basis, and get email notices of new posts there too. Often the emails I get from Reddit tell me of new posts on detrans and pro-trans subs at the same time.

Just now I went to my (the? - I dunno how much Reddit tailors it to individual users) reddit home page, and every post on it is from these subs:

R/traaaaans (can’t be arsed to type it’s full name) freaks me out. It’s so fetishistic. Glad to know I’m not the only one getting relentless notifications from TRA subs I’ve visited once

I noticed this before I left reddit, too. They're definitely pushing gender ideology on vulnerable posters. I'm sure many teenagers and pre-teens click on those "suggestions" and wind up down bizarre gender bender ideology rabbit holes.

Hmm yeah. Do you read their announcement posts? They don't hide their agenda. Modnews is also a transparent sub that I advise to subscribe to keep up with how Admins are empowering TRA mods by giving them "better" mod tools to censor.

I’m not exactly ‘active’ on reddit. I’ll keep an eye on Modnews now though. Only reason I even had notifications on was hard resetting my phone (which turns notifications on). The way TRAs have captured every space and institution is terrifying. We have to hide with the right (places like here and Parler), which does our image no good.

You could also try deleting and reinstalling the app if that happens to you again. But the applications are how reddit grabs even more free data from us, including our phone number, contacts, and accurate gps beacons. If you are going to still use reddit, use it from the website, don't allow their spyware on your iphone or tablet.

The right makes up probably 1/3rd of our country, it won't help our cause by attacking them; the rest of our country is 1/3rd dem and 1/3rd independents; we are going to need all the help we can get if we're going against Biden and his womanhating ILK. Being associated with the right is the new "They're communists!" If the day that we quit is the one where media or politicians smear who we are, then maybe the fight isnt worth fighting for.

If we can get kicked off a mainstream website merely for standing up for the rights of women and girls, why do we give a freaking freaky frickin' fook about whatever their 'image' of us is? It's not like they have been honest about GC when they smeared us to remove our speech on reddit.

It’s all so much more pressing for you in the US too, your rights have been legally erased. Is there anything we can do in the U.K. to help your cause aside from donating to causes?

I personally don’t have an issue with the right in the U.K., it’s more the association will deter neutrals from our cause- but then it’s just like you said- it’s just hyperbole- (there’s a more religious mysogynistic element to the right in the US I believe). Here, they (the Conservatives) are the only thing stopping us losing our rights. As for your recent election, if I was American I could not have voted for either side in good conscience. Trump is a mysogynist and anti-abortion. Biden is wrapped around TRA’s little fingers. The left scares me more than the right. I think we have more fanatical leftists than fanatical right-wingers here; I think you’ve got it differently (or they just make the news way more). And the leftists will do more damage. I don’t think the far-right hold sway with any institutions, but the woke left does.

The left has big tech, they control the internet and this means they have control over international communication, which they've already used to censor misinformation on global platforms. And their definition of misinformation means anything that doesn't fit their political agenda. The majority of people who are young are also on the left and the younger people are the ones more vulnerable to TRA influence and social media peer pressure. This makes the left scarier for sure.

My mother and I were having an interesting convo earlier.

Anti-vax disinformation- social media firms make money from it (I’m not 100% sure how) so make little effort to really weed it out. There isn’t wokeness and intersectionality associated with vax/antivax so the liberals aren’t sufficiently interested too. As for pharma- governments are buying enough to cover their population (multiple times over in richer countries). From the pharmaceutical companies’ perspective, whether people get these doesn’t matter- they’ve got their money.

Gender theory- pharma companies stand to make an enormous amount by forcing teens and children into a lifetime of (unnecessary) medication. This is more an individual basis, not government bulk buying. They have enormous lobbying power too. So anti-gender theory gets ruthlessly purged. Add the liberal institutions being bought onside and GC is being crushed wherever possible.

TLDR: Follow the money!!!

100% they do!! Someone posted a screenshot on KF's Kevin Gibes post (or possibly Contrapoints?) of a TIM who's dating one of the main reddit admins/programmers. There were screenshots of him bragging how they whine-cried until their chaser reddit BF banned all the LGB and GC subs (and all sorts of sketchiness like what you mention).
