I have more fear of a TIM than I do of a man. It's probably due to sexual trauma I have experienced (not due to TIMs), but I oddly feel safer with a man who knows he's a man, than a man who claims they're a woman. Every time I have encountered a TIM in real life, they have been rude and talked down to me or tried to order me around, glared at me with absolute hatred even when I had tried to be nice to them, or, and this was way before I knew of AGPs, I instinctively knew that the man got off to the thought of himself as woman. At least with a man who knows he's a man, I can know what to expect, but when I think of being alone in a vulnerable space with TIMs, I just have huge anxiety, because while not all men hate women, it truly does seem that both HTSTs and AGPs have a huge hatred for women, boiling down to the fact they can never be what we are, even though they might have different reasons (though at this point, I think male trans people are always AGPs, they just have different sexual orientations and perhaps different thinking, but all the same, they both think they are somehow superior than and perform better than actual women or think they're actually female).

I'm not against effeminate men at all, and actually wish it was accepted for men to explore femininity, whether gay or straight. I have no problem with any man who know he's a man, but wants to look pretty, and keeps to male only spaces. But, I don't know. Once they cross the line and think of themselves as women, my entire feeling changes. I feel they are just using this as a cover to get into women only spaces, and because they know women can't speak out against it due to current climate. I mean, if they truly cared about women and our feelings, they understand why they need to fight for their own spaces, and not come invade women's. (And this is me trying to come with a compromise, though I know it's all or nothing to TRA's)

I mean, am I just paranoid for having more heightened awareness around TIMs than normal men? I'm sorry, it's so hard to articulate this. I guess the best way to describe it, I just get disgusted/automatically not trust when I encounter a male LARPing as a woman. At least MOST men can respect places to be segregated by sex, but it seems that TIMs have no respect in this context.

And I guess I have this heightened fear, because I'm afraid my rapist could troon out, and I will and would absolutely refuse to be forced into calling him a woman, and I fear for the safety of other women, because they have to give up their protections, so a fucking rapist can get off on forcing women to call him a woman and allow him in their spaces, and being told nothing can be done because "he says he's a woman, so therefore it's true and obviously means his rapist and violent thinking goes away."

I'm just so conflicted on this. I feel it's an irrational fear, but at the same time, it's completely valid with how shit is going.
