While the Democrats do all they can to set women's rights back 50 years, these conservative groups are really bringing it home for girls' privacy, safety and sports.

A coalition of 40 something conservative groups got the US Department of Education to send a letter confirming that Title IX is based on biological sex, not gender identity - Obama had changed it to gender identity. Title IX is the US law that was passed in the 1970s to ensure American women equal educational opportunities, including sports.

The Trump administration (and I know this is for political expediency) has saved girls sports and brought educational policy back to science-based biological sex not gender woo-woo. While I am grateful, I am also angry and sad that the Democrats have chosen the path they have.

(I'm quoting from the link at OP)

  • It (the letter from the Dept. of Education) unequivocally states the Department’s “commitment to ensuring Title IX is vigorously enforced at every level of education”.

  • It provides the legal justification for why the Bostock decision does not control the Department’s interpretation of Title IX or its regulations.

  • It affirms the Department’s view that “single-sex teams [are] based only on biological sex at birth – male or female – as opposed to a person’s gender identity.”

The Bostock decision is the recent Supreme Court ruling that is now being used by other courts to rule in favor of transgender activists demands:

Here's an excerpt from a USA TODAY article on the Bostock decision and the War on Women it's unleashed:

“The most recent example came last week, when the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, based in Virginia, said the Constitution and federal law allow a transgender high school student to use the restroom of his choice. It was a victory for Gavin Grimm, who has since graduated and gone to college. "After the Supreme Court’s recent decision ... we have little difficulty holding that a bathroom policy precluding Grimm from using the boys restrooms discriminated against him 'on the basis of sex,'" the court said in a 2-1 decision… That followed just weeks after federal courts ruled for transgender rights in three other cases dealing with bathrooms, school sports and health care. All three decisions cited the Supreme Court's landmark 6-3 ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, which extended protection against job discrimination to gay, lesbian and transgender workers.”

Thanks BEB. Fingers crossed; it's a start. Another petition to sign!

@&$!? Job protections have nothing to do with toilet/locker room access. Unless and until I see an argument better than 'cause, I'm angered that this is just judges exceeding the constraints of the bench. (Although liberal judges have been legislating from the bench for quite some time, now. Should have been stopped. Citizens are too apathetic to recall or demand censure.)

Edit. The decision in the Grim case could at least have stated the discrimination was based on gender. Hey, wouldn't that be a basis for appeals? Grim sex is female, gender ID is male...

While other feminist lawyers argued that the US Supreme Court Bostock decision was actually good for safeguarding the legal definition of biological sex, WoLF warned that Bostock would lead to this kind of shit and it looks like WoLF was correct.

The transgender activist lobby has now won THREE court cases that hurt women's rights based off of Bostock, which was only ruled on a few months ago. In a FEW MONTHS the GENDER LOBBY has eviscerated women's' rights on bathrooms and school sports.

THIS IS WHY EACH AMERICAN MUST DO ALL WE CAN RIGHT NOW to stop this.

Call politicians. Talk to people. Tell one person a day about the Equality Act.

Tell one person a day about SPINSTER, OVARIT, SAVE WOMEN'S SPORTS and SAIDIT GC

Speak out whenever you can! Most Americans are ON OUR SIDE, they just have to know we exist.

Republicans don't actually give a shit about protecting women, if they did they wouldn't gut our healthcare options and autonomy. I hate how much people are turning a blind eye to the vile shit they've been doing the past 40 years just because Trump makes the Tims rage.

That being said, a broken clock and all of that.

I have talked to a lot of politicians' offices about this issue, and while I completely agree that the Republicans are a complete shit show on many issues that impact women, on this issue the Democratic politicians' offices tend to be extremely rude and misogynistic. This even though I tell them at the start of the call that I have volunteered and donated to Democratic campaigsn for decades.

So many times when I've called a Democrat's office to say that while transgenders, et al., should have every human and civil right they can't have women's, the Democrat's office treats me like I'm a member of the KKK asking them to re- enslave black people.

Whereas the Republicans' offices seem to actually care that girls will lose their sporting opportunities and actually worry about what happens when ANY man is allowed to self-identify and access spaces.

In my experience, many Republican lawmakers are actually sincerely on the side of women on this one. Go figure.

During June’s #SaveGirlsSports Week, you took action and asked President Trump and Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to reject the Left’s demands to allow biological boys to compete in girls’ sports.

Lol, "the Left." Gay lifelong Democrat/indep voter here and I support this.

Same. It makes me MAD that TRUMP of all people are the ones protecting sex-based rights. If TRUMP can get it, it makes me worried about how dumb the people are who don't.

Don't give Our Donnie too much credit - Trump doesn't "get" it. He couldn't give a fuck about women.

Trump is wily like a fox, and he's doing this because he knows that not only is gender ideology unpopular with his base, the more it gets exposed, the more he has the chance to gain votes among Independents, minorities and conservative immigrants.

Americans are very irrational voters. So often they vote against what irritates them rather than for their own good. Although, in this case, ending the gender madness is definitely for all our own good.

And religious Americans, including Muslims, many Hispanics, Orthodox Jews, do not want boys in the girls' showers. They don't want sex education that is an ad for Porn Hub.

Trump knows this - why the Democrats don't has baffled me now for four years.

Dems only listen to white TRAs on the issue. as if he gives any amount of fuck on actual women's issues.

Thanks to having pretty much fuck all to do during the pandemic, I lurk on Angry, American, Online, Male forums (like SAIDIT's front page!) and this issue (boys in girls' sports) is one that many cite as showing the irrationality of "the Left."

So yes, the Democratic party (these men's idea of "The Left") might take a big voter hit because of their support of boys in girls' sports. Joe Rogan's podcasts on these issues gets at least 1.5 million hits with the vast majority of the comments in support of girls sports staying for girls.

I swear that the Democrats will commit suicide if they keep going with the identity politics stuff instead of trying to lure back the working and middle class with concrete and effective economic policies.

Don't just lurk, post. What are they going to do, ban you for having a contrary opinion? Wait, don't answer that. I still don't know why I got banned from r/MGTOW

I know, I should stop lurking and start commenting in these crazy, angry, male spaces. For all their rage, they tend to be genuinely gender critical. Probably for all the wrong reasons. But they are allies.

It is TOO funny that you got banned from Men Going Their Own Way. Love it.

You can't get banned here can you?

This is definitely promising. Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome! However, Biden has promised RECENTLY, like two weeks ago, that he'll change TITLE IX back to include gender identity as soon as he gets into office.

Like, I know that Biden's foundation is partnered with the creepy gender ideology org, Gender Spectrum to take gender ideology into schools, but REALLY JOE, destroying girls' rights is your fucking number one priority during a pandemic and economic collapse?

[–]TurtleFuzz 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

I mean, Joe is a huge creep, so I'm not surprised haha

Unfortunately since it can be labeled as a Trump policy, that'll make it easier for TRAs to get Democrats to attack it, the next time the Democrats have power to do so.
