It stopped being funny after about 5 minutes, and here it is blown up to mean ''any woman who voices preferences, ever'' and having women living in fear of the label like a year later. Just one more way to ensure a steady supply of ''chill'' women.

Ugh shoot me.

Shrew, harpy, nag, bitch, witch, uppity. Different terms, same misogyny

My position on the Karen thing is that it started like a legit meme (like 'Kevin' or 'Chad') that is a bit lazy, but not hateful. Then it was hijacked.

^ THIS.

And THIS is what the meme is evolving into. http://www.edrants.com/when-is-a-karen-not-a-karen-the-cruelty-and-lies-of-karlos-dillard/

When men get equal time in "meme theater" for behaving like racist assholes, when those same memes drift from depicting male racist assholery to pillorying and ridiculing men in general for being themselves, and then morph again into deliberate stalking and grifting of men going about their day -- then I will re-consider the "social righteousness" and "non-misogyny" of the "Karen" and "Shaniqua" memes and the incel complaints about "Ling Lings."

Not holding my breath. Also not buying the "misogyny isn't misogyny when it's socially curative" bullshit.

It's time for women to come up with first names with personalities you don't like attached. See how that plays out...I bet it will reveal hypocrisy.

I’m averse associating someone’s name with a personality type, there’s a CFO Karen at my work and she’s not to be messed with. Mistakes can happen and having a name, is pretty common now days.

This woman was being racist. He provided evidence of her being racist, therefore, he used Karen appropriately.

What evidence was there that she was being racist, other than his accusation? I heard him say "You called me a n*****" but I didn't hear her say it.
