They're trying to blame Emerson for death threats they received from TRAs. But I think it's their profits they're more worried about.

Didn't see them speaking up against the threats towards Emerson, but when the tides turn they'll pull out every victim card. We were just speaking up for the righteous cause, we're young volunteers and we're minors, how dare you confront us with logic and consequences /s

You are sarcastically joking, but this is literally how Crusades were done "it is in the name of God, so we can be as cruel and unpure as we want, all our sins would be forgiven, as it is done in the name of right cause".

And when you openning internet - and see all those "crusade" memes, or even worse "Texas crusader dad with shotgun" memes, you realizing - it is literally the same thing. And they're not even hiding it anymore. "We will do a lot of harm, but it will be forgiven by society, because it is for a good cause".

If minors are receiving death threats it's their fault, not Emerson's. They're an organization and anonymous. How do their minor volunteer receive death threats? Do they not have policies and systems in place to ensure their minor volunteers are not handling their emails and social media when they decided to put themselves into a controversial matter? Are their minors' identities and contact information made publicly available? How can they blame Emerson for something HE can't control instead of controlling their own environment to protect their own?

Thank you Emerson! I was hugely into MuggleNet throughout all of middle and high school. They were my go-to source for all things Harry Potter from the Goblet of Fire book era onward and honestly helped get me through the darkest years of my life. Emerson built MuggleNet from the ground up. It is his baby and MuggleNet will always be synonymous with him to me.

MuggleNet blocks JK Rowling and Emerson? Who won't they block? They've set a very bad precedent for themselves that should set off alarm bells to all of the bystanders who haven't been knowledgeable about trans rights activism until the present day. Let the peaking continue. . . .

Mugglenet twitter is so hilarious with their whining about having a mob go after them when TRAs have sicced mobs on all women who say no. Be the change you want to be is different from go out and convert/police. People who drink won't stand for Mormons to lecture them about drinking, why do we as women accept being lectured about possibly hurting a male's feelings somewhere. Some men find women's existences triggering, do we need to then all wear burqas or crawl under a rock? /s What we want to do and how "nice" we want to be is a choice. Fact is, they'd cancel Rowling in a heartbeat if they could, but they can't so they're pretending to be gracious and bullying smaller foes.

They're women and minors when it's convenient. Don't see them defending other women when male TRAs and trans women go after them.
