So what is this sub about?

Basically it's critical of modern "gender" ideology - basically the kind of stuff people with pronouns in the bio say on Twitter. The idea that if you like pink you're a girl, etc.

no, it's critical of all gender ideology. the idea that there should be sex-based roles in society at all.

A feminist sub critical of modern gender identity theory. JK Rowling recently came out as a gender critical feminist.

Discussing the fact that sex is real, that women's rights and trans rights are in open conflict, and that "gender" just means "sex stereotypes" which we should be wary of. (i.e. Wear what you want but that doesn't literally make you a woman.)

Really hateful things, basically.

it's the progressive stack minus trans for women. it's a leftist anti-transgenderism position.

It was also a woman-centered space which was really nice for a lot of women... except the women like me who got banned for not wanting to participate in other parts of the progressive stack.

That woman is female-born, not an identity that can be assumed. If people wish to live as a gender opposite to their birth sex, that's their prerogative, but they haven't magically become a different sex. Women's spaces are protected for a reason. That men and trans identified males who attack women for this view are coming from a misogynistic place. There's a news story with a grown man identifying as a 6yo girl. Do we put him back in the classrooms with other children? They should just get over it, right? /s
