I call them groomers because of people like alok saying little girls are kinky and because it supports experimentally interfering with puberty to induce desired cosmetic results.

Experimenting on children to make them grow up looking a certain way is peak groomer behaviour.

Y’all have a fucked up idea of what medically necessary is if you can say with a straight face that cosmetic treatments for psychological disturbance is an ethical and medically required route.

Also i swear none of you actually believe dysphoria exists. It's always the whims of adults with drugs 'experimenting' on unsuspecting, innocent children, as if they aren't already messed up in the head. You don't like the current method of treatment? Then. Provide. Concrete. Evidence. Against. It. Id fucking LOVE to live in a world where dysphoria could be treated without transition. It's not a fun experience, you will be discriminated against, there is nothing I wish more than for dysphoric kids to not suffer.

But that alternative treatment doesnt exist. So stay out of the way of the one we have which is proven to work until it does.

You can only blame transactivists for the lack of alternative treatments. After all, TRAs are the ones who keep suppresing any research that may go against the party line (1, 2, 3). They are the ones who are keen on label anything other than "affirmative treatement" as "conversion therapy" (4). And don't get me started on the sloppiness of pro-QT researchers... Like the people at the Tavistock who embarrased themselves before the High Court with their apparent lack of capability for keeping patient's data (5). By the way, when TRAs keep driving away any heath care proffessional who question the official narrative (6), is any wonder you're left with unscrupulous doctors who only care about profit and being able to perform human experimentation?

You could admit, at the very least, that a lack of alternatives for "transition" is exactly what QT wants.

I... Feel like I shouldn't have to explain social media presence has only been a big factor in peoples minds for no more than the past 5-6 years. You won't see me defending people stopping science from happening, but what about alllllll the time before that. You do understand that trans people have been studied in earnest for more than 30 years, right? Were tras shooting those studies down for the other 25?

Yes, I'm aware of that. I don't think the doctors from yesteyear put much effort in trying to find alternative methods. However, even today many trans people are fine with the "medical trasition" offered to them because it validates their identities. Not only that, transactivists aims to eliminate any kind of "gatekeeping". I can't say for certain there would more options available now for trans identified individuals if not were for transactivists, but they certainly aren't helping.

And it's hard for me to believe you when you say that you'd prefer children to be treated without a need for transition given your opinion on not given minors GnRH agonists and CSH. Before gender clinics started affirming the children's self-diagnostics, most of them used to desist in their cross-sex identification.

Dysphoria does exist, it’s just that the current ‘treatment’ is immoral to give to children who lack the cognitive ability to give meaningful consent.

If the kid is so messed up already, it’s even less reason to interfere with their biochemistry for cosmetic purposes.

Dysphoria does exist, it’s just that the current ‘treatment’ is immoral to give to children who lack the cognitive ability to give meaningful consent.

Dysphoria is no longer needed to be a trans, and by modern researches majority of trans people nowadays do not have any kind of dysphoria.

Up to 90% of transitioning girls have no gender dysphoria and not "true trans", they are just homosexual and no one told them "it is okay to be gay". For boys number is up to 80% and by Tavistock and Canadian doctor interviews - many homosexual boys are brought there by homophobic parents, so it is not even their own choice.

I think all QT here are transmeds or leaning there, however, they are too focused on themselves - we are telling them that a lot of "not trans" kids are being hurt, that women laws are being taken away for any non-trans abusive men to abuse - and instead answers are always about "my own experience" or "there little percent of people with dysphoria for who it will help".

Yeah, maybe for 1% of affected it will help, but why sacrifice 99%? Maybe better to find a way to find those 1% and improve our methods to help them instead? In Canada and if EA passes, in USA too, it is impossible to study gender dysphoria and trying to help people with it. That is what our QT here are failing to understand. Some do understand, but they are becoming either "neutral" or "GC" like peakingatthemoment.

In UK Stonewall is aiming to remove gender dysphoria from everywhere, they are throwing transsexuals under the bus and want to remove any possible help people with gender dysphoria may need. There’s zero concern for anyone else, you’re right. It’s honestly an unknown as to whether it’s as helpful to legitimately transgender kids as well. Nobody knows how bad of a cancer risk exogenous hormones are, but we know they increase risk in other populations. We don’t know how bad the bone density loss can be but we know it’s looking bad in the case of lupron used in women.

There’s so much risk of extreme harm for the benefit of so few, and the driving factor is that those few will commit suicide if not given access to what they want.

Imagine if we treated body dysmorphia or eating disorders this way? Someone says they’re so distressed over the size of their nose they will kill themselves if not given a nose job immediately? Worse, a child says it, and next thing a medical team starts discussing which method of rhinoplasty they want most!

As far as I know, early blockers and hormones for transmen are harmful and will make them to pass much worse, be shorter and lack tissues to make pseudo-penis, with having very serious health issues later in life. While for transwomen earlier transition will make them "pass" much better, but will hurt health in general.

So for transwomen it is questionable and may help "to live as women", but for transmen it is harmful. However, transmen are given same treatment as transwomen. Same as it was done in healthcare before - females are just given male treatment. Gender changed, but oppression still based on sex.

And it is for kids who may be "real transgenders", who are only 2-10% of all kids who are put on blockers or hormones. So many other kids are collateral damage and harmed.
