GC: Why isn't a vagina/clitoris a small penis and why isn't a penis a big vagina/clitoris?

And I figured trans women do not think of their genitalia as penis and trans men do not think of their genitalia as vagina, and they call their penis big vagina/clitoris or they call their vagina/clitoris a small penis

It says from the perspective of developmental biology, a vagina/clitoris is a small penis and a penis is a big vagina/clitoris because either penis comes from vagina during fetal development or both vagina and penis come from the same thing during fetal development so surgery creates a vagina through the inversion of the penis because it’s merely reversing "biological mistake" that happened during fetal development.

Why isn't a vagina/clitoris a small penis and why isn't a penis a big vagina/clitoris?

One does not urinate or ejaculate via the clitoris or vagina.

The clitoris has a rather unique form that is more complex than what is externally visible. The vagina is entirely different tissue, mucosal lining and muscular, while the penis has regular skin and the corpus spongiosum.

The amount of nerves differ.

One does not penetrate another with their clitoris.

Vaginas are self cleaning. Penises are not.

Penises do not allow for menstruation even if we put a uterus to shed it’s lining in the body.

Vaginas cannot impregnate.

How are they analogous?

I'll grant you that the penis and the clitoris are homologous structures (this is not true for the penis and the vagina), but homology is not homonymy. You might as well ask why arms aren't wings—after all, human arms develop in utero from upper limb buds, just like bird wings and bat wings.

Why are you writing vagina/clitoris because they are not the same or similar structures at all. Have you ever even looked at a female anatomy diagram? I think if you don't know the biology of the sexual reproduction structures you are going to make huge and idiotic mistakes, if you are going to debate this type of thing you really need to get your biology straight. ETA - to do what you did with vagina/clitoris would be to call it a penis/prostate or something similar. Please, PLEASE pick up an anatomy textbook.

I respect whatever terminology people use privately to help them feel better about their dysphoria.

Biologically speaking, penises and clitorises are organs that develop differently based on sex. And a vagina is not even remotely a penis.

After some time on T my clit definitely has gotten more penis like things but at the end of the day if it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, and walks like a duck... its probably a duck. Or a vagina in my case.

Surgeries can create genitals that look like a penis or vagina, but it’s not using the same tissue (except Metoidioplasty I think...). Phalloplasty’s use skin grafts from other parts of the body for the penis. The vaginal wall of a neo-vagina uses different material than a natural vagina. I’ve had SRS and it helped me a lot, but it’s not reversing anything so much as creating something new to make us feel better and be able to function better.
