This is all really just a manufactured social media marketing campaign. It's not new, my niece has been informing me for years how uncool my Android phone is, but it's in high gear right now because the new Apple and Android flagship phones are coming out next month.

It's really easy. I have a Poco X3 and flashed ArrowOS. If it fucks up you can just flash it back to stock firmware. XDA has communities so you can find support there from users that use the same phone.
