They do that sometimes. The computer generated images of the suspects in the McCann case look exactly like the Podesta brothers, that was a message to them. And in secret societies they're made to sign contracts while under the influence of alcohol or another drug, so they could certainly be holding them to that. Although a lot of this is just normalization. They make reports about controversial subjects that aren't quite damning so that scandals become that much more difficult because the populace has been desensitized. Plus it gives the impression that critical journalism still exists in the mainstream and there's no need to look at alternative sources.

But let's say that your hypothesis is correct. What are they holding them to? Can this somehow be connected to 9/11?
