Oh, oh, my ideal date: we start off at a bowling alley, and drink cheap beer. After a few games, we head out and grab Chinese food, and then head home to watch a scary movie or murder mystery.

Yeah she was a problem and I had to end things after she insisted that I be drunk while having sex and it was just way too uncomfortably to continue - never again with someone who can’t enjoy me sober

Someone who can’t handle that I don’t drink or smoke pot often/hardly at all? It drove my last girlfriend crazy that I wasn’t always fucked up like she was (though she kept saying it was for medical purposes.)

I mean I like a nice glass of wine once in a while but it’s just not a weekly or even monthly thing for me - it took me a long time to get where I could enjoy life with a clear head and I wanna keep it that way.

Not to mention it’s mixes horribly with my medication. Like Jesus Christ, at least give a damn about my health.

I have have a similar problem and it’s the main reason I’m not dating right now. It doesn’t seem fair to my partner.

Additionally I have really bad trust problems and don’t think I’m willing to share as much of my life as I should be able to with a partner. I don’t see myself ever getting married or moving in together. I love you and sex, and going to funerals and weddings together are fine but like...I think that’s about as much as I’m willing to give.

But I’ve been told these are all things to work out in therapy so maybe there is more in my black heart, we will have to see

Mostly just lurked on TL since it was nice to have a community where I didn’t feel ashamed of my sexuality.

Anyway - 23 years old, sort of butch/androgynous looking, tired lesbian who wishes her friends would stop trying to convince her to transition. I’m a woman, I’m a lesbian. Gonna stay a woman and a lesbian. It’s not gonna change.
