HP wants you to pay up to $36/month to rent a printer that it monitors by Myocarditis-Man in technology

Haven't owned a printer since before college, more than 20 years ago. Realized even the "pay to print" kiosks were almost always unsecure enough to just remote print via the printer's IP.

The tactic still works to this day.

What's weird? It's just what amounts to a rubber band that, when stretched during an activity such as running, generates electricity. Would be useful for small wearable electronics, or powering artificial limbs if it can generate enough power.

And I wonder how that accounts for super-common last names. If "500,000 unique last names" sounds scary, imagine if it had read "10,000,000 votes all from one family!"

Leave out the important details to make you scared. Bullshit-science should be flushed down the drain. by zyxzevn in Coronavirus

The amusing part is this post also excludes an important detail: The case study specifically mentions that not only was it cancer, but that it was also incurable. So then, WHAT DUMBASS GATORMOLESTER decided that dedicating hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical resources to an 89-year-old quite literally in the process of dying was a good idea? That's probably of more importance than "Oh no! You can get the flu more than once!"

Some Advice to Poor Whites. If you are poor and white, know that our elites have it in for you. You aren’t considered marginalized, because they think you have nothing but white privilege. You aren’t part of the “diversity” that they want in high-status jobs, even though you’ve never been in them. by Chipit in OpinionPieces

See the best part of being poor and white is that even without money, you still have a desire to make things better. Being poor just means you do that in other ways i.e. helping neighbors drag their car out of the snowy ditch, sharing home-cooked food, socializing, building shit just for the sake of building shit, exploring your surroundings for entertainment... I mean, people give rednecks and hillbillies shit for being rednecks and hillbillies, but ask yourself this: When was the last time you saw an unhappy Cooter or JimBob?

According to the state I live in, I don't have any magazines over 7 rounds, and my weapon certainly doesn't have any features that make it easier to handle. So should these protestors show up at my doorstep, they can feel safe knowing that the laws they voted in favor of will surely protect them. It'll just be a nice, peaceful protest.
