The funny thing is, many troons do pass more convincingly in photos especially headshots. When you see them IRL they almost never do. I saw one last night who was very well dressed and had a nice bob haircut and makeup.

All I needed to see was the broad muscled shoulders gaping out of the tank top to know, yeah, that's a man.

The ones who do pass IRL are either putting in a massive amount of (often expensive) work to do so, or got ridiculously lucky in the genetic lottery and naturally have a foundation to start from that's just plain better.

And, amusingly enough, I find that ones who do pass best are mostly FtM. Buck Angel, to name one notable example, looks like a guy. It's not until you hear the voice and realize that it doesn't really match up to the physique that you start to clue in.

But none of that applies to Mulvaney's creepy ass, because that motherfucker is (IMO) intentionally trying for the skinwalker, "it puts the lotion on its skin" look and gets a kick out forcing people to call it "girlhood."

Lighting, poses, and filters make a huge difference in pictures - especially filters. However, IRL, there's almost no chance of MtFs passing, especially straight dudes. There's a million tells and most of them are pretty glaring. I think the ones that do come closest to passing are very effeminate gay men, and even then, they still look and move like very effeminate gay men, not women.
