Apparently they wanted a bigger building but knew they wouldn't get planning to extend.

Edit: ahh, just seen the tunnels were built during lockdown so that they could worship without getting arrested

The tunnel construction didn't start until 6 months ago.

Where does the 6 months claim come from though?

Is that just a guess or is it from the guys who dug it?

I'm not sure about that information now. I've heard so many varying reports at this point. But it does seem they were definitely digging after lockdowns would have been an issue.

One of the most sensible explanations so far I think u/neolib posted involving a property dispute dragging along in the courts, but it has its questionable elements too.

We never should have allowed them to shut religions down.

But we all thought it was the zombie apocalypse.

The tunnels connect to the women's bath house, which was the main reason for them.

It's not surprising for a community completely lacking in ethics, paid by taxpayers to avoid work, and are a manace to everone and everyhing they connect with.

They used the women's bathroom to dump their dirt in though.

They weren't able to use it, I guess they don't get many women in the building either.

I see.

Reports and videos of the mattresses and baby chairs have led people to speculate that it was part of a child trafficking operation. Young men are supposedly responsible for the tunnels. I doubt we'll get the honest information from that community.
