I'm not sure I understand what's really going on. I'm guessing you need to know what that building is, what the "770" is and who those people are?

I'm still clueless. It looks like a bunch of Jewish dudes dug a tunnel. But what for? Where were they trying to get to without being seen?

They were trying to access a nearby building they consider sacred because the dude they think was the messiah lived in there or something.
